Whats his record in his past 10 games? Eva you have a habit of breaking numbers down to fit your argument. Howard's stats might not be very good for the last 10 games, but he only cost us one game. Hell I could go and find 10 game segments of any hall of fame goaltender and make them look pedestrian too. Why can't people be happy that we have a young goaltender that is winning games and happens to have top 10 stats?

You do realize Howard is 8th in GAA and 5th in SV% right? Not to mention he is winning games. One bad game happens, he's the future and he's playing well. There is no reason to change things up.

It would be a lot harder considering the competition between the two teams will take place all through the regular season and early in the playoffs. But I'm not going to say it isn't possible. It's just a sport.

My opinion is that considering I have season tickets to the Red Wings, and have been following them since birth that they are my favorite team. But also considering Pittsburgh has my favorite player, happen to be in the Eastern Conference and play great hockey makes them my second favorite team. Being a "true" fan is a personal thing. I don't need to prove my "fandom" to anyone but myself.

I don't like how Hudler handled this whole situation. But, he wouldn't certainly help this team. So I'll look past my dislike for him for the betterment of the team.

Well, I originally thought it was a knee injury. So I'll this over something else. Obviously it's sort of a lesser of two evils situation.

Good news. Especially when it comes to Bertuzzi's injury luck. Rest him up for a few games and get him 100% for the final stretch.

If they goon it up, Lilja will take care of them. Maybe Stuart or Cleary can step up physically a bit aswell.

I'm glad he's not taking a break down there and is still working hard. We'll need him soon enough.

Besides Helm's great game. Lilja-Lebda was the biggest thing I took out of the Nashville game. They were very solid, I'm not sure on the stats but nothing stood out to me which is great. It's going to be interesting to see the impact of Lilja's return has on Ericsson. Either way it should help us in the end.

The bolded do not coincide. He's not a top 4 player anymore. And should only be used sparingly in the top 6, like earlier in the year. Expecting Bertuzzi to keep up a 30 goal 70 point season isn't going to happen. He's a secondary scoring replacement that was signed to replace Sammy and fill in the unexpected absence of Hudler. One 1.5 million dollar forward is not a major concern for the Wings right now.

Good players make players around them better. Not saying Bertuzzi is great or anything. He is what he is. A borderline top 6 forward. If Datsyuk and Zetterberg are anywhere near what most of them think they are they would be able to produce.

Well considering Holland hasn't needed to make those moves to win cups I don't see how you can hold it against him.
