UFA's are not being traded. I would really like to see Holland move a decent sized contract just to change things up. I'm not going to speculate on who, or even say he should do it. I'd just wouldn't mind seeing Holland jostle the line up a bit.

I think it's pretty safe he would have much better competition. But I don't think it's out the question that he would adapt his game and still find a way to be dominant. I'd rather just throw the very best players of each era into one group and let it be. I see no use arguing over who dominated there peers more to determine who is better.

Won't break the record. But Ovechkin along with Crosby are on the same level of dominance. Gretzky didn't have the competition in his era. It's unfair to say who are the better player and it's impossible to compare. I would just throw them in the same company and call it a day.

Nothing wrong with that opinion, Ovechkin is a great player in his own right. I would just prefer Crosby, with Ovechkin right behind him. But they are far and away the two best players in the league. Btw what the hell happened to Malkin? He has been sort of disappointing this season granted his playing better as of late. If he could play consistent hockey it could be scary, he has all the physical tools to dominate.

Different game. But there are certainly exceptions. Ovechkin could very well lead his team through to a championship, but I'm not going to be him credit when he hasn't earned it. Crosby has been a PPG player in the playoffs every single year for his young career. Not sure what else I'd want in a franchise player.

I actually think Miller would win the Hart, granted his last few starts might have hurt his chances. Ovechkin is getting better defensively though I'll give him that. I still value a key faceoff man and center that can put up the comparable numbers to the winger in the comparison everytime. When was the last time a Winger lead a team on a playoff run?

Let me know when a Winger like Hull is more important than a Center like Yzerman.

Well then don't watch hockey if you think the game is tampered. It most be horrible to not enjoy the excitement of something unexpected happening.

I'm not even saying that. They proved they were the best team last year, and until someone beats them in the playoffs they will remain. Much like the Wing's were the top team in 08' I don't see the big deal here...

Sorry I'm under the impression that you are the champion until there is crowned another champion. Regular season only means so much.

Man, so much hate of the best team in the league. Jealously is such a funny thing. Crosby is an amazing player, as is Ovechkin. Deal with it.

It's disappointing for sure, but Kings have just been playing outstanding hockey for the last couple weeks. They had one bad period, and injuries/luck killed us.

Pretty decent game. We almost had a point verse a very good team. We'll be good. Bertuzzi was great tonight, and Zetterberg was dominate.

I agree. Murph is great. He's has the perfect mix of having a Hall of Fame career and yet sounding like a casual fan at the same time. It's awesome.
