I'm the type that bases my opinion on what I see from stats and watching games. I look how Osgood played in the playoffs last year and look at him this year there is a clear difference. I'd expect Osgood to make timely saves, that's how he has made his career.

It's only the goalies fault when he is carrying around a .500 SV%.

They sure weren't horrible goals individually. But in the end 3 goals on 6 shots isn't getting the job done, I'm sorry. We all know Osgood can play better, it's time he actually does.

3 goals on 6 shots isn't good in a shootout. Not to mention an actual game. Come on Ozzie you have to be better than this.

I'm getting sick of having to score a lot of goals to win games. Osgood sucks.

While he certainly hasn't played good he brings something to the defense that we absolutely can not do without. Size and strength are the main reasons he's in the lineup and we can't take that out of the line up, at least willingly. Give him some time, he's made some major mistakes, but so has a lot of other players, and we will need him.

I knew he was going to be able to turn it around, but I wouldn't blame the people that were harping on him he had 1 goal for a long long time, and that's just not acceptable considering how good we know he can be. Hopefully his elbow is getting better and he can stay healthy down the stretch we need his production now more then ever before.

Not surprised Ovechkin is a bad person. Hillen probably hit him earlier in the game. Then again Ovechkin probably doesn't have the accuracy, I hope Hillen is ok though that looked scary...

All I'm going to say is this is hopefully the worst we see of the Wing's for the rest of the season(barring a bad game or two). We just cannot play a sound 60 minute game, hopefully with players getting back and the chemistry starts clicking we can balance our defense to offense game better. We looked amazing in the offensive zone tonight, and looked lost defensively. Once the team finds a way to put it together we'll be more then fine. I'm chalking these past couple losses to a cold stretch, hopefully that's it.

Sure I loved Vladdy but he didn't make dirty plays against my favorite team. Where as Pronger has. And for the record I don't mind pronger that much and would love for him to play on my team.

Sure but one would think a cheapshot is a more serious act than embellishing a call. You're certainly entitled your opinion I just disagree with that notion.

Please tell me you don't cheer for Franzen, Maltby, or Datsyuk. Embellishing isn't rare, I hate it too, but it's not like that is a quality specific to Crosby.

As a committee sure. But our star players sure aren't leading by example so far this year. Oh and people that say Crosby doesn't play any defense are lying to themselves. The guy is absolutely amazing at winning puck battles in the defensive zone, wins faceoffs, plays the PK in key situations(Which isn't that common for a teams main offensive player) and puts up points in over a PPG pace along with becoming a bigger shooter. He might not be a Selke candidate, but he certainly improving that part of his game. There wouldn't be another player in the league I'd want on my team then Sidney Crosby.
