Hits like the Mike Richard's hit has always been in the game, Booth was crossing the blue line going into the opponents zone and should of protected himself. I believe if we start enforcing hits like that with suspensions it will diminish the will for the players to take chances and will effect the hits on open ice.

Yzerman, if it wasn't for him we wouldn't have any Stanley Cups. On the ice and off the ice he is the example of what it is to be a Red Wing, and that's not even taking into account the actual service he does for the team with scouting and advice.

Lashoff is looking really good. 6'3 and hits like a tank. Kinda looks like a Stuart type hopefully.

No way is Datsyuk a first liner on that team. He's not that good.

This looks to be one of the better teams they have put together in a long time. Top forwards are just amazing, defense is very solid, and goal tending has the ability to steal games. Should be a team to fear in the Olympics.

I don't like people who completely deny themselves the intellectualism to be grateful that Sidney Crosby is the best hockey player in the NHL. We are all so lucky to be living in an era where the greatest hockey player in the history of the game is just beginning his career. Such a gift.

Lemieux's come back is one of the most impressive thing's I've ever witnessed. A lot of good choices up there can't go wrong with a lot of them.
