Fixed* Bertuzzi is certainly not going to continue his hot streak. And Datsyuk won't get a Powerplay goal. And Detroit will lose 5-2.

Ok I don't even know where to begin here. I'll just agree with the whole playing great idea. He had a great night, but he hasn't been playing great for the majority of the season. But to say he sucks without any evidence just makes you look ignorant. Please come back and actually bring something to the discussion.

Thing is with Bertuzzi is you have to expect a 15 goal 40 point guy. Anything higher then that may end up as a disappointment. He certainly still has the tools, but his back injury has really crippled his strength around the net. He's probably not going to be a "steal", but he'll still be a decent contract and a contributing secondary scoring veteran. Leino looked good tonight, and Babcock said it best in the post-game. He wants Leino to win battles, and he did that tonight. Leino needs to just focus on playing hard, and good things will happen. He was trying to be too perfect, and probably had a tough time stepping his game up when the rest of the team is playing mediocre. Stuart was the big star tonight, he's carrying the defense right now and is playing very very sound defensive hockey. I can't say enough about how good he's looked this season. It's a matter of time before Dats-Z-Raf-Lids start scoring, they are too talented not to.

Ah yes, I spaced out Stuart was by far our best player tonight. His play often goes unappreciated.

He was lying and trying to play it off innocently Anyways just a hot streak, but for what he is getting paid it hasn't been as bad as people have made it sound. Leino had a good game tonight as well, really skating. Howard had a decent game, if not for that bad goal would of had a very good game. But he gave us a chance to win, which is all I can ask from a rookie and it's definitely appreciated. These are the types of games we need to win, having as many PP's as we did that would of been brutal to lose.

Nah, Crosby doesn't need help from the posts to be the greatest player ever.

Soooo I'm not that crazy after all. Granted it was only one game, but all the same he was the best player tonight(Howard played well too, but that bad goal hurt).

Ah, good to see the post starting to be friendly to Bertuzzi. I've stood by his side the entire time.

I mean it's not like he didn't mean to score a goal there. No one said Shanahan was just lucky when he scored those types of goals. Stop reaching to diminish the contributions of a secondary scorer on a team riddled with injuries.

Oh please. Show some optimism. He's played well lately. Anytime he can pitch in it should be a happy mood, he shouldn't be relied on to score he's not a leader anymore.
