He gave him credit for being decent, which is what he is.

ugh, everything that can go wrong is going wrong. Geez, it's starting to get comical.
-
Click the vid called "Sidney Crosby with Shaun Majumder" The math is perfect...
-
He is way too powerful to play in the NHL. It's just not fair for a team to play Markov, he would increase the injury rate over 10 fold.
-
My whole point was to express my disappoint in our best players. That's all. I have not seem Lidstrom play this bad in 16 years, Datsyuk hasn't played consistently well for a long time and it's not a comfortable feeling. That's all I'm trying to get across. My other posts that seem completely outlandish are completely sarcastic given the ignorance of the post I'm usually responding to.

Now I'm going to start to put on the afterburners and catch up with the leaders. Friday: Florida @ New Jersey Carolina @ Washington Chicago @ Buffalo Anaheim @ Detroit Edmonton @ St Louis Tampa Bay @ Colorado Minnesota @ Calgary Dallas @ San Jose Saturday: Washington @ Toronto Carolina @ Ottawa Philadelphia @ New Jersey Boston @ NY Islanders Buffalo @ NY Rangers Montreal @ Atlanta Anaheim @ Columbus Florida @ Pittsburgh Detroit @ Nashville San Jose @ Phoenix Minnesota @ Vancouver Dallas @ Los Angeles Sunday: Tampa Bay @ Chicago Calgary @ Colorado

Major respect for him trying to come back. Imagine him and Chelios on the same team
-
Haha nice post. I was thinking along the same lines after the game. At least their is something to be not absolutely dismayed about.
-
So that extra couple weeks really makes that big of a difference? What about all the injuries around the league. What about Pittsburgh? I don't buy it.
-
Yes, but there shouldn't be a reason they are exhausted. Unless they are just too old to recover from a full off-season of rest. Than that's a completely different situation.

*my one serious post* Don't get me wrong I completely understand there isn't a person maybe besides Howard who is playing decent right now. It was said that Lidstrom is declining and we should expect it. That's where I disagree, I believe Lidstrom from being a Norris candidate last year to not being in the top 50 shouldn't be "expected". Our best players need to be our best players. Simple as that. No excuse for our first PP unit to not score. Injuries hold no significant role in that specific aspect of the game. Obviously none of us hold any influence over anything that happens with the Wing's, the only thing under our control is to discuss our opinions on certain situations regarding the team. I disagreed with someone's opinion that Lidstrom is declining and we should of expected it. Don't see what the deal is.

I usually do , but in this instance I honestly think it fit my point pretty well. And since he is always on my mind it was the first thing I thought of!
-
I hope something unfortunate happens to Jackman...
-
Is it so crazy to expect one of the best players on your team to adapt his game to fit the teams needs? I hate to bring it up, but just for an example Crosby is shooting more this year then in past years. Why can't Datsyuk?
-
Yeah, year long slumps should be expected out of one of the team's highest paid players.
-
I don't know, Datsyuk doesn't seem to be that embed into the team. I can see him without the Wing's logo. Winning would cure all the issues though, if the trade happens there will be PO'd fans, but once we get that Cup everything will be forgotten.
-
Bertuzzi has a better chance of the HoF then Datsyuk. Bertuzzi's best season>Datsyuk's best season.
-
Oh man Datsyuk can't even play as many games as the older Bertuzzi. Wow I didn't even realize Bertuzzi was more durable then Datsyuk as well. Thanks for the info!
-
Huh? Crosby is doing fine as well. I don't get your point. Pavel needs to be having a better season, period. Obviously his stats would be better if Franzen was healthy. But he just isn't making good decisions with the puck and it's frustrating to watch.
-
Exactly, but he is also average in salary. So that's why he>Datsyuk. Cry more.
-
Stuart seems to be the only Wing's defenseman playing with any sort of intensity and effort. Wonder if it's a coincidence that's he's North American.
-
Bertuzzi created the best scoring chance of the night with his amazing breakaway speed. All Datsyuk did was lose face-offs and turn over the puck. Great showing from one of our "best players".
-
No one would take Lidstrom, and the Red Wing's would never trade their captain. They won't even trade Datsyuk, I'm just throwing it out there because that's my honest opinion right after a disappointing loss.
-
Oh please. Look at some of Crosby's wingers. Don't turn this into a Crosby thread, but wow your ignorance from that sentence makes your post hard to take seriously.
-
At least he got a SOG. More then what that choker Datsyuk did.
