Honestly I'd play Howard if that's the case. Osgood went on a good stretch towards the end of the year before the playoffs. But it's really tough to not even give Osgood one chance in the playoffs. It really depends on what the team sees in practices and who they think gives them a better chance to win.

I'm just saying I think it's silly to compare the aging of different players like that especially when one has been far and away as dominate in every aspect as Brodeur has been. I respect Laraque for being honest. That said if he doesn't understand the economic reason's of suspending star players I don't know what to tell him. Unless the star play does something completely inexusable(Oveckin's knee on knee), they are going to be getting the benefit of the doubt because they need to be on the ice to promote the game.
