That's your opinion. I think Bertuzzi is one of our better players. If he sucked as bad as you think Babcock would not be playing him and would sit him like he did to Leino. I think you are off base.

Leino will be fine. Just has too much pressure on him right now. His current role is not working for him. Once the team gets healthy and is isn't relied on he'll start gaining confidence and improve.

Holmstrom isn't scoring. Bertuzzi is getting it to the net plenty of times and Homer is not producing.

They haven't been dominating the past 8 games. And they've been the first PP.

In his defense Datsyuk hasn't really tore it up while playing with Holmstrom since before last year's playoffs.

And putting Bertuzzi on the first PP between Z and Pavs might help too.

I agree but there isn't much blame for holmstrom's bad penalties and no production the past 7? Games. And he plays on the first PP. If you are going to throw one under the bus might as well throw the one that is making more and playing with the euro twins as well.

No he isn't. He is one of the leaders in hits and takeaways for our forwarsd. He is 2nd in terms of shots on goal and he isn't missing the net as much as zetterberg is. He is creating scoring chances that holmstrom is not capitalizing on. He is hardly the reason for the red wings trouble. I'd worry about datsyuk and zetterberg or lidsrrom or holmstrom or osgood before I'm worrying about a 3rd liner that isn't able to live up to unfair expectations of franzen or hossa.

Exactly my point, I don't see Holland trading anyone away. He missed the boat on getting any value from our veterans.

I'm happy with Bertuzzi. He is creating chances, hitting, and shooting. We are getting a good bang for our buck with his contract. It's just a shame he has to carry that anchor of Holmstrom around. If Homer actually capitilized on half of the chances Bertuzzi has set up for him non you would be complaining.

No one will want them. Tradeable players? Helm, Abdelkader, Leino, Kronwall, Franzen, Cleary, Datsyuk, Stuart, Howard, Eaves, Flippula, Ericsson, Kindl. Few of those have NTC and I'm missing a few, but those are some the players that other teams would want. We really shouldn't make a big move, but if we do make a move it better involve a young talented goal scorer, young talented defensive defenseman, or a veteran backup/starter to ease the way for hopefully Larsson/Howard/McCollum to develop into an NHL starter.

Meh hasn't been good, but he is not the reason we are losing nor is he the worst player right now.

The word "if" isn't in my vocabulary. The Red Wing's are the best team in the league, and will win every game they play. No exceptions.

Can't wait to see how much he will dominate the WJC this year. I know last year he was one of the best players in the tournament. I love WJC time. I really think the Red Wing's might put him on the fast track he is keeps it up, it was odd they even kept him in the AHL so obvisously they aren't treating him like a normal prospect, so let's hope he stays injury free and bulk up!

Shouldn't have been in the crease, if you give the referee a chance to make a judgment call things like that will happen. Especially when nothing else is going your way.

Oh I hope so. Seen a good majority of the games this year and this kid looks amazing for his age. And he seems to be getting better each and every game. If he can keep improving this year the Wing's really should give him a shot. We need to start pushing some prospects up and get some new blood especially goal scorers.

Just in a slump. We'll dominate the Blues tomorrow and everyone will be happy. Would like to see May back in the line-up, if we aren't winning I'd atleast like to see some faces punched.

Osgood needs to play better simple as that. I'm not "hating" him or anything. But his just has not given the wing's a chance to win.

2nd call is fine, that puck could of been anywhere. It just looks bad considering the Cleary call. Well the team is facing adversity who is going to step up?

Oh I agree Dynheart the whole team isn't playing well. But when you are struggling you have to have your goalie make saves. It starts with the goalie, if Osgood makes some key saves it will help the confidence of this team, something they desperately desperately need. I'm just hoping Osgood can play better that's all, because if he continues letting in soft/bad goals this team is going to have even more trouble trying to gain confidence.

Oh don't make excuses for Osgood. That was a bad goal due to lack of focus. He will be the first one to tell you that. If a puck is loose in front of the net and you don't have your five hole covered you aren't playing well. Osgood has not been covering his five hole all season this is just another example of his positioning breaking down. He would of had that in the playoffs no problem.

It was a weird play, but he was in position just not concentrating. He left his five hole wide open and his stick was in the air. It was a lack of focus. When a team is struggling NHL goaltenders have to make those kind of saves if the team is going to win.
