Wow come on Osgood five-hole again? I know it was a weird play but his stick is not on the ice....
-
Not getting any breaks... This team needs to get pissed and start dominating when everything goes against us.
-
Powerplay come on. Datsyuk and Z don't seem to be clicking...
-
Not really, Pittstburgh's goaltending is much better and Crosby/Malkin are better than Datsyuk/Zetterberg. It's not really comparable especially with how old Lidstrom/Rafalski look.
-
Holmstrom cannot take bad penalties like that...
-
Yeah, there will always be dirty plays and dirty players. Just need to change the rules to adapt to the change of speed, equipment and strength with today's players.
-
Ok so now we are blaming McCrimmon, Bertuzzi, Stuart and Rafalski! Makes sense, waive them Kenny we will never win a Stanley Cup with them!
-
Thought that would be too easy, haha. Robidas for 1.5 million this year and 3.3 million through 13-14 looks damn good.
-
I'll go with Rick Nash for 5.4 million until 2018.
-
It's one of those situations where when he first signed it was a good deal, in the middle of the contract it was a average deal, and now it looks like a bad deal. It happens, bad contracts happen we are lucky we only have one. Every contract isn't going to be perfect.
-
Man where has the respect between the players gone in today's game?
-
Yeah, I kinda just threw it together quick haha.

I'm not going to change your opinion. But I feel Ovechkin lead with his leg and there forecheck made complete contact with Gonchars knee. That's what I'm seeing when I see the video. Either way it is borderline, and also him getting a tripping penalty as well.
-
Oh please Ovechkin got beat and stuck out his leg. Laraque just did the same thing to Kronwall. It was and irresponsible play.
-
Hart - Marion Gaborik or Ryan Miller although I wish I could put Kovalchuk with them, but that injury hurt his start but he'll get some recognition if he keeps up his pace and Atlanta makes the playoffs at the end of the year. Norris - Chris Pronger, but Keith is right up there Vezina - Ryan Miller Lady Byng - I'll go with everyone else with Brad Richards Calder - Tavares but hard to argue against Del Zotto, and I personally would vote O'Reilly he is putting up numbers while getting significant PK time and hitting got to acknowledge that. Selke - Kesler right now, but Zetterberg is close. Adams - Todd McLellan almost voted for Joe Sacco but the team started to go cold.

I have 99 cent app from Itunes called "Radio". Works very well, also comes with ESPN radio. Love it.
-
I didn't say it was dirty actually in my first post I said it was probably the wrong call. I'm just saying when you have past borderline plays the refs aren't going to assume intent like they have with several other players this year(Richards for example).
-
You aren't going to get the benefit of the doubt when you have a history of plays like this.
-
Hmm ACL injury is not something to rush. I can understand his desire to represent his country though. Tough call, if our doctors clear him to play though I won't hold it against him. Also he doesn't sound confident in that article, he is pretty much saying the best case scenario and is holding a very optimistic view of the situation which is about the only thing he can do given his injury.
-
Hate debating in two different threads haha. But anyways Franzen didn't play on the PK as much as Hossa that's why I came to the conclusion that Babcock thinks Hossa is a better option therefore I do aswell. Let me know when Jagr is 30 again.
-
Well Franzen had 19:00ish TOI I'm guessing he shared the ice with Datsyuk and Zetterberg. Either way Detroit was the better team and had more depth which would help Franzen you would think. And there was a hit in the Chicago series which looked to really hurt the injury. Either way he wasn't healthy and I believe that the injury had more effect on his game then anything else. This we probably disagree on, so I'll just agree to disagree because there isn't really a way to prove it either way. And statistics surely don't tell the whole story, but do give a pretty good idea.
-
Hell Franzen has probably one of the best contracts in the NHL. Same with Zetterberg. This post is funny.
-
That's pretty much all I'm saying. Just try something different. Hell switch Cleary with Homer and see what happens.
