I have a feeling because Leino is Finnish that he has a little more rope with you then others. He's just sitting a game so he can try and bring his "A" game every single night which he hasn't done whether you feel that way or not the same thing happened to Helm and he played the best game so far this season after. Leino is the type of player that has to be producing or else he is essentially useless he doesn't play amazing defense(He isn't horrible, but a winger can only do so much), Doesn't play on the PK, so if he doesn't make his linemates better on the score sheet he's not doing a whole lot else. He is going to play a very significant role on this team because we absolutely need his production to be successful. Yes, you are better qualified to understand what is happening to the players then Babcock. This post is ridiculous you should be embarrassed.

No one expected 40 goals, but I did expect better production then he's had. You have very little argument considering the guy who coaches the team thinks Leino hasn't been playing well. He's shown how good he can be, it's just a matter of him putting it forth every night.

I only judge players that deserve it.

When you are an NHLer you can judge. He is the best at what he does in the league.

I've been calling for McCrimmon's head since he got hired. He's never been a successful defensive coach. He couldn't do well with Atlanta, and he certainly isn't doing well here.

Shootouts are nothing but a gamble. Honestly you are doing no better throwing Datsyuk vs. anyone else barring a few exceptional shoot out scorers. It wouldn't hurt using someone else in the shootout, but it's definitely not sending a good message to your actually paid skilled players to not get the chance. Datsyuk has one of the best %'s in the league, Williams has been good too, Zetterberg has been extremely clutch, I don't blame Babcock for his order.

I watch all of them, all he does is cheap shot people and flex his stick in the neutral zone waiting for his teammates to give him the puck.

Leino-Datsyuk-Bertuzzi Cleary-Zetterberg-Holmstrom Draper-Abdelkader-Williams May-Helm-Maltby/Eaves I'd be good with this, Helm and Kader can be interchangable, I just think Helm has played very well with May and Eaves lately so if it isn't broken I'm not fixing it. The top 6 really doesn't have much speed at all, so I wouldn't be opposed to throwing Helm, Draper, Williams up with the top 2 lines throughout the game to get some breathers for Holmstrom/Bertuzzi.

I see this as a big stepping stone for Abdelkader. I can see him coming in and really flourishing with some of the extra ice time from Flippula's departure. Either way, we'll see how this team really does perform under unfortunate circumstances. All I know if we make the playoffs there isn't a team in the world that would want to face a low seed healthy Red Wing's lineup.

He won't come close. Too streaky and soft. Doesn't have the dedication to help his team win games and won't be able to keep up the pace especially with the injuries that are bound to happen with the dirty and irresponsible way he plays the game. Now real players like Crosby or Richards(who actually play the game both ways) will have a chance at it for sure.

Mike Commodore? Toni Lydman? Dennis Seidenberg? Scott Hannan? Anton Volchenkov? Marc Staal? Johnny Oduya? Andrew Alberts? Zbynek Michalek? I'd love any of the above, obviously doubt we can get any of them though.

My fandom is unwavering, being a Detroit lions fan has already challenged me in that respect.

Penguin's are completely dominating right now, if you can't see that then I don't know what to say. They have the 2 best players in the league, a great young goalie, a very good young coach, and Stanley Cup caliber role players. Having Malkin and Gonchar out will hurt big time though, hopefully he can recover 100% he is a great player to watch.

Great game, Howard played very well, Datsyuk showed up, Bertuzzi still a force, and just an awesome all around game after Ozzie's departure.
