Holmstrom has been completely and utterly awful, he has been a pitiful excuse of a NHLer hell even an AHLer it's been a completely travesty and waste of my good time to watch this horrible display of hockey. The same goes for practically everyone else on the team they've all played like a god **(#$ abortion. I'm not exaggerating at all.

I haven't been happy with McCrimmon since he got here. He had a bad defense in ATL, he's had a bad defense here. I'd rather try something new, without losing talented players.

The question is, is it the players not playing well(getting older/fatigued/bad decisions), or the scheme not right for the type of players we have. I've been on McCrimmon since he got here, I really do not like how we play on the PK and 5v5 in the defensive zone, we are very very passive. Funny thing is there is a thread that is eerily familiar, that was back in April 09'. Interesting to compare how we saw the team playing then, and how we see the team playing now. This thread.

Most of the people you bolded were the one's that played well. Besides the defense.

He's here to play hockey he hasn't been able to throw his weight around physically because of his back, he still uses his size to his advantage around the net, and is a very good play maker. Sure he might not put himself out of position and risk an injury every play to get a hit statistic, but he still fills a role on this team and has been one of the few Red Wing's to actually be playing what could be considered as decent hockey so far this season.

I was refering to the goal that went off Lidstrom, I'd expect that to be made. The rest of them are a result of the team just being awful though.
