Agreed with most of that, but there is no way Crosby would of stayed in the AHL for any time. That's why he was picked as #1, because he was ready. I would of been a fan of having Crosby play for my team. He is a generational talent, and is a player that loves the game. He would also be on a team where their was much more experience, and wouldn't have had to carry as much of the offensive load early in his career. Sure would be interesting=P EDIT: Umm, the red wing's are just as 'cheap' as other teams. It's hockey, it's rough if there aren't little stick jabs going around then the teams don't care about the out-come of the game. I'll give you the Red Wing's are more disciplined, but the Red Wing's aren't angels out there either.

What a deal for Anahiem, they could be a huge pain for years to come if this is true.

It's a shame he is out for these playoff's, he really improved drastically this year and I hope he can come back next year. He is a great 5-6 defenseman for us.

Yeah, he is putting himself in the right spots, you can tell he doesn't quite have that top gear he had earlier in the playoffs. He isn't playing up to par for a 7 million dollar player, but he certainly is not hurting us. Hopefully the adrenaline well kick up his game in game 7 and he can show us all why we were so excited to sign him last off season.

Pens played a great game and we didn't. They barely won. We won't mess up at home.

He's been a healthy scratch. Don't think it will be much of an impact his isn't good defensively, soft but is a decent enough scorer when set-up perfectly. Who are they taking out?

Yeah, it's definitely allowed and will happen. Lilja had a great year, I really hope he can recover from this, but having headaches for this long after is not good=(.

Cleary/Raflaski/Stuart All ahead of Helm. Helm has yet to play a full regular season yet people =(

Zetterberg Weber Goalie is tough, probably Cam Ward a young goaltender like him doesn't come around often.

The longer the series the slower the Pen's defenseman get and the better the chance of getting the best player in the NHL healthy. I like the wings=)

I suppose 'late bloomer' wasn't the best of words to express what I was trying to say. I was meaning that he always exceeded expectations in every level and it looks like he is going to do it again on the biggest stage. Which is why I won't be surprised if he turns into a 20-20 or better player.

Considering he got cut from a JR. A team, went to play JR. B and dominate that level then went to Medicine Hat in the WHL and have a decent rookie year get drafted by the Wing's then emerge as one of the top players in the WHL. I'm just saying he starts off every league as a average to above average player then a year later dominates it, and that's what I consider a 'late bloomer'.

He's always been a late bloomer. He has truly gifted speed. I'm not going to say where he will end up, but in my mind he could surely reach a potential people are not expecting out of him. The worst he becomes is a 3rd line shut down center, and well the best? The sky is the limit in my mind especially with the talent the wings can put around him.

To answer the question. Yes I would take Crosby on my team without a second thought. I think he is going to be the best player of this generation whether people like him or not.

Blowing it out of proportion. Get over your hate for Bettman/Crosby. Bettman never said "Pittsburgh was a model franchise", that was the writer's interpretation. If you are going to flame Bettman at-least flame him using his own words, and trust me there are enough of his own thoughts out there to burn down a country.
