Meh, he isn't taunting and he is having fun. I have no problem with it personally. Although I could see how it would get old if you see him playing everyday. But it's good to be emotional and motivate your team like he does.

What more does Conklin have to do to win the respect of some of these fans? I mean the guy has played great and has had a rough time so far in the NHL, but I remember watching him with the Green Bay Gamblers, and this guy is the perfect goalie for the Red Wings style, he rarely loses compusure, has a strong techinque, and is extraordinarily calm. He is what made Osgood a great goalie for the wings back in the day. The wings' don't need to use money on a spectacular goalie when we can win with a consistent and "average"(using for a lack of a better word) goalie who doesn't mind watching his team rack up 50 shots and only stopping 13 in a game. I'm rooting for Osgood to return to his earlier confidence and swagger, but either way I feel why are in good hands.

Both. Two different styles, and considering the Wings are lacking in the physical/grit I would give the importance to the team edge to Helm, although Leino is a better talent.

Agreed, the old debate whether someone's outside-the-game issues should be taken into account for HOF. In my opinion, as long as someone doesn't do something completely outrageous and immoral it shouldn't matter. Eh, we'll see what happens not like I have a say anyway haha.

Dino was a pioneering player that had a gigantic influence on the game. Plus his statistics are much better then claudes' if memory serves me at all.

I want Neil, not because you need an enforcer to win games. But because it's exciting, and helps revenue and fan interest. Also he would be significantly better then any 4th liner on the squad currently. No doubt the wings can win the cup either way, I just feel that we could be more "exciting" team for some fans out there.
