It's the regular season. Granted we haven't been too much better the last few years. -

He's a good offensive player. Might be frusterating at times, but he's important. Good size, creates space, and can make good passes.

Renney will be good. It's not good to have a brand new system in a shortened season, and then add a brand new player that's never played in the NHL on the point. It's going to be a rough ride until they get comfortable. Penalty kill will be fine once Ericsson and Helm get back. Haven't seen anything too alarming, I mean we have a rookie in Lashoff and Huskins off the couch playing big minutes here.

Not wasted spots. Tootoo fills a need that this team has been missing for a while. Samuelsson is perennially a 20 goal 50 point player. If we brought Nyquist and Tatar right up we wouldn't have as good of depth in case of injuries like now.

It's about time Garth Snow got out of there. It's obvious either a) He can't lure free agents, and b) he can't keep his own players happy. I don't think it's just a new york islander thing either, that franchise has been successful in the past. I've always liked Nino's game, just not a real good move for the wings right now. We need the assets for a top 4 defenseman.
