Great start for Ozzy, really bailing us out. Poor Smith learning as he goes, trying to do a little too much, but that happens when you are dominant before the NHL and just learning what you can do at the NHL.

Don't feel like you're alone. I'm really looking forward to it. I loved Hard knocks for the Jets, so I'm really interested to see how the show translates to the hockey side.

I've seen some bad knee on knees only get a 2 minute(Ovechkin on Gonchar), and I've seen some clean hits get a game misconduct (Kronwall on Havlat). Just saying it was a 5 minute major doesn't automatically mean it's a horrible and completely dirty play. It wouldn't surprise me, because Orpik is a douchebag but I still want to see a video before I call for his head.

Crosby not the second best? Do you watch hockey at all? I'd love to see these people defend that stance. I agree the NHL needs to start marketing Toews, Miller, Datsyuk, Stamkos etc. But fact is the average person will look at the stats and see Crosby and Ovechkin leading the league for the past 5 years. Until their are players consistently up there with the numbers, people will want to see the best players in the game, and learn more about them. It's just the way it is.

HBO chooses the teams not the NHL. Don't blame the NHL that Crosby and Ovechkin have the most draw according to HBO.

I really want to see a replay before I call for the head of Orpik. But I say just put the play in the back of your head, and get the revenge down the road if it deserves it that is.

That said, no one is forcing you to watch it. I'm looking forward to seeing these great players off the ice, I think the NHL needs to showcase the personalities more on these young stars.

Awesome, can't wait to watch this show with the two best players in the game. Should be entertaining, and something every hockey fan will enjoy watching!

One thing I'd like to add about the referees is, the NHL isn't alone in the boat with inconsistent reffing. Let's not forget the Galarraga perfect game, and the Calvin Johnson catch for local Detroit fans. Reffing isn't an easy thing and there are going to be mistakes. I would like to see improvement on the simplicity of the rules though.

If this makes any sense, if it was just a 2v2 I'd pick the real twins, their chemistry is almost creepy. That said, if I was building a team I'd pick Datsyuk/Zetterburg as they are better overall players.

I don't know, I had a pretty high negative post Anyways, I really love the depth on our team this year. I'm really looking forward to this year, we have one of the best teams on paper yet again.

Hate the ducks a lot more. Penguins are my second favorite team, and are a much more entertaining team to watch.

I'm just most excited about our depth really. But if I had to pick one it has to be the ZDH line. A full year with those guys playing with each other should be great.
