Eh, Diven Devin is just like a lot of other hockey players in today's game. Draper embellishes practically everything, I don't blame Devin as much as I do the refs that refuse to call obvious dives and obvious high stick penalties.

I sympathize for Bertuzzi, as I understand that what he did was an accident, but I realize in this day and age if you paralyze someone it doesn't matter why you did it, just that he is paralyzed and you did it. Now I could go on a diatribe about the actually court case and how I pretty much lost all respect for Steve Moore, but that's not completely relevant so I'll let that be.

Nope I don't think bryzgalov was good enough statisically for it. Not to mention I believe the hype about him carrying Phoenix is not all that true. Phoenix has very good defensemen and a brilliant defensive coach.

Crosby meant the most to his team. I don't have the numbers in front of me but just look at the amount of points he scored compared to the rest of his team then compare it to henrik and ovie. I don't think a goalie deserved the hart this year, none were dominante for enough of the season. I'd give Crosby the hart and henrik the Pearson.

While Mike Green is probably the player that deserves most of the blame, don't leave the coach out of the criticism. When your team's powerplay was #1 in the regular season, and then goes 1 for 35? that's more than likely more then a player issue...

I wouldn't expect anything else, he obviously wants to win and that what he plays the game for. He played his part, hockey's a team game, and unfortunately for him he had a couple no shows playing along side him. I would hate to be part of the media in that instance... Backstrom is a legit playmaker. Hell he's easily a top 3 playmaker in my book. He's an unbelievable passer, not to mention 100 points by the age of 22? This guy is underrated as all hell. Semin and Green were pitiful, outside shots, shying away from corner battles, giveaways, hardly backcheckin... You just can't win with two of your top players playing like that, scary thing is Washington almost did. They have amazing talent, and it would be extremely scary if they could actually find a coach that's philosophy goes beyond "Get puck, shoot puck."

But this contains exactly why I cannot stand "casual" hockey fans that want to change the game instead of learning it. Great jersey! I voted for the 97', only because I feel that if you are going to put it on the jersey, might as well put the patch that he was directly apart of. Although none are a bad option.

Realistically adding a 6-7 million center is easier to fit than a 9.5 million dollar winger. You can never have enough centers in my opinion, especially when a couple of them can produce very well on the wing.

I agree his the first part. Disagree with the second part, this was a great game to watch.

I'd rather have Backstrom Not saying he is better or anything. Just think he would fit better.

Haha, I don't need to troll everyone is just agreeing with what I've been saying all along. I like the Capital's players, but Bruce just doesn't know how to adjust, I've expected this to happen all along, although even I expected them to get passed the first round. I don't "troll".
