Halak has a shut out in the bag.

Performance of the playoffs so far. Halak is having one of the best games I've seen a goalie have in a long time. Great game.

If Hudler wasn't coming back I wouldn't mind. I just think they fill the same role, therefore having both of them would be kinda useless in my opinion.

No way. Lebda would be the best defensemen ever to play in that s*** Finnish league. Look at the Olympics for example, Russia can't even compete with North Americans, same with Finland against US. Look at Leino, the MVP of the league is barely worth a 5th round draft pick.

Their role players are very underrated aswell, Fleury is streaky, solid defense, good coaching and don't forget Malkin/Crosby are game changers. I do think the Wings were a better team last year, but the injury god hurt us much more then it did the Pens. Halak is awesome, stealing this game so far.

I've played with a few NHLers in the off season at Compuware, it's a really humbling experience. Although it makes for a some awesome memories especially when you manage to get lucky a couple times in a puck battle haha.

I wouldn't want him anyways. Much rather get Derek Morris/Corvo/Mitchell/Hamhuis/White etc. to strengthen the defense.

Fair enough, he got a 5 minute boarding call with a couple minutes left in the game and his team down a goal. Every hit is different, and I think this hit has already been properly punished.

It is, but Hossa's hit was not as bad as Ovechkin's and that's all that matters.

I'm guessing the "similarities" are the result of most people liking Ovechkin, and disliking Hossa. Not the actual hits. Edit: I have a bad habit of using actually instead of actual. That's like the 3rd time today only haha.

Was not as fast or violent as Ovechkin's, thus I agree with no suspension. He was punished enough with a 5 minute major with only a couple minutes left and his team down a goal.

Meh we are losing on purpose. Just to give Howard some game 7 experience. We can win anytime verse the Yotes, we are just toying with them.

Well, it's not like this hit went unpunished. To me I really don't think this hit deserves more discipline, it didn't seem to have the force and finish like the Ovechkin hit, and to me that's the difference between a 5 minute major and a 5 minute game misconduct(and suspension). If you think this is identical to the Ovechkin hit then we'll just have to disagree, I just don't see the Hossa hit being as violent as Ovechkin's was.
