Wow, I can't believe that just happened. I genuinely feel bad for San Jose fans. Man...

Haha, well Kindl didn't do too bad when Raffi was injured earlier in the season.

I know, shame on me for making light of a situation, right?

It's Howard's show. But if the team just lacks the effort in game 4 and we go down by 3ish then throw Osgood in and blame everything on him.

I hope you are kidding...

I didn't really disagree with his calls that much? -
Not a chance. Sorry the Wings aren't a s***ty ran team like Washington that just changes goalies day to day. Jimmy needs to prove himself, and the Wings actually need to come to play in front of him.
-
Nah, he had a bad game today but he's not getting much help if any.
-
Backstrom is so underrated. He's awesome, what a shot.
-
There's Ovechkin, just a matter of time. Starting to get good now!
-
Is ovechkin injured? He's been silent, what a good leader...

Franzen has always been a streaky player. He runs off confidence, no way you can take him off the first line. He's not playing horribly, the puck just isn't finding him in the offensive zone. He'll score 4 goals in 2 games soon, just how he is.

Man, does Abby has a nack for the clutch goal. That's something you cannot teach along with his tenacity, man our future is bright.

I liked both hits.

He hasn't been particularly great or bad. He's been decent. Wings haven't been giving him the best of help on the odd man rushes either. Hopefully he can continue to play good enough to not lose us a game, which he hasn't yet. That's the most important thing for a rookie goaltender. Having one great night, and one lousy one isn't what you want, he needs to consistently give this team a chance to win.
-
Consistency is the key for Flippula, he's always had nights like these were he just looks amazing. He's just not a consistent offensive threat yet, although he has been improving. He has all the physical tools and talent to be a very very good player, it's just offensively his instincts aren't the best. But playing with Zetterberg can hopefully provide a good guide for him.

You should just have fun with it like me.

Crosby is amazing what great vision and puck protection. Great shot by Letang.
