That debate comes down to how much you value dominance over longevity. Personally I'd rank Lidstrom over him purely on his ability to sustain a dominate performance for his whole career. But really I can't argue against Orr at all, the guy was just amazing.

Depending on the actually ligament damaged on the knee, yes. There is a good reason why Yzerman was able to rough it out, yet Franzen, or Kronwall had to be out for months.

Eh no problem, I just think it's unfair because not every injury is the same. Some can be played through with just pain, and others like a shoulder can severely impact your strength on the puck.

I still think Crosby is more valuable to his team. Ovechkin has many great offensive players playing with him, and plays a system ideal for putting up points.

Yeah, just think when Ovechkin's complete game revolves around scoring goals he'll find a way to score more. He's too gifted and competitive not to.

I understand that I'm on a Wing board. I just don't get why Wing's fan forget that a 40 goal scorer turned down major long term contracts to play for the Wings. That's all.
