I'm actually so so about this move. We just signed Nitty and we had Greiss waiting for Nabokov to leave or retire. WHich Nabokov left, It was kind of Greiss's turn to play. It was Greiss's chance to show the franchise what he could have done. But this move basically said Screw you greiss, we don't believe in you thats why we signed two goalies. I just can't wait till the season starts. And signing or trading for a defensemen would be nice right about now.

Yes, First, when I heard Maholtra was signed that cheap. I was like whoa, what a bargain. I didn't know how good he was at first, but as the season progressed, he was amazing. His speed, his shot, his defensive abilities. He is amazing at the faceoff circle.

Not trade Marleau. Still stay with him. I would have liked Nabokov or Marleau to both retire as a Shark. As they have been with this Franchise, since they were 18. I kind of disagree, i think the hawks are better on paper. They ahve tons of more speed than the Sharks. THe Sharks are a dump and chase kind of team and cycling kind of team, with our big bodies. The Hawks have great puck moving D men and shut down D men. The Sharks D only has Boyle, and Vlasic and Murray. Boyle- good all around D men. Murray- just hits Vlasic- hits like a girl but is good positionally. The Hawks exploited the Sharks D very good. We always had trouble with speed. And how versus said it the Hawks are America's team now. Thats why I want the Sharks to get another Shut down D men aka mitchell and a puck moving defensemen aka Hamnuis. We will have cap space, if we don't resign Nabokov. Eh, Niemi played solid. The Sharks helped out allot in that category by shooting at his chest the whole game.

And Heatley is a effing joke this playoffs, he came to San Jose to score those dirty goals in the playoffs, he only scored 2 goals and showed no hustle or heart, every other Shark showed determination and heart. Why can't effing Heatley? We need to reamp our D, and if Nabokov doesn't play for us next year, we just need a goaltender for a few years, then Stalock will come in. I know its dissapointing, but we made it far and we showed signs that we will be back next year. It seems like we finally know what it takes to come this far, keep the core together, and we shall be back next year. One of our media guys said that, that he may want to start afresh. If he does go, He will mostly go to LA. San Jose fans want him here still, But Marleau will demand 7 mill. He might have a home town discount, but I doubt it this time around. He did let a soft goal every game. But does it help that we can't score 2 goals per game in the WCF?

Well, I don't think Greiss is the answer. Nabokov played good in the playoffs but not Great. We might need him for one more year, there is this young goalie named Stalock in our series, that is our future for goaltending or there is Sex smith. There is Turco, Thomas, halak\price, Theodore on the market. We have to keep Nabokov or Marleau one of the two at least. Both would be nice since they have been in San Jose for their whole career. But in a few years, Stalock will be our starting goalie for years to come. I dont think the reason why we lost was Nabokov. I thought the reason why we lost is because we don't have the speed of the hawks. We didn't get secondary scoring, our D had lapses. Like I said I would like Hamhuis or Michalek or Volenchenkov coming here. And letting Blake, Huskins and Wallin gone.

Sharks had a good season. I'm not that depressed like I have been in recent years. We played 100 percent, all the games were close execpt for game 2. My main concerns who stays? Marleau or Nabokov? Marleau will demand lots of money, 6-7 million. WIll he stay here or go on the market and go to LA or Calgary? If we do sign Marleau, Will Nabokov give us a hometown discount. I can't see Nabokov or Marleau in a diffrent jersey. THey've been in this franchise since they were 18. I still am digusted at versus biased for the hawks. I want the Sharks to get better D. The Sharks aren't choking, the Hawks are just a better team. They have the speed that the Sharks can't keep up with, even though they did a pretty good job at it yesterday. I agree with everything else, but Nabokov is the best diver on the Sharks. And also the best diving goalie in the league. And he proved it in game 2. Nabokov dives allot and gets away with it allot.
