i am not blaming anything on him (and maybe your just biased because your from Finland) but i believe that while sometimes he does cycle the puck good he does get nocked off the puck more times than he comes out with it and that is called a turnover he is a big body who lacks a physical presence because he is not sturdy on his skates. he does have good hands but in the NHL you need to have more than just hands you need to have all the entangables that the finnish elite leagues just dont have.So to answer your question i do not believe he is underrated he is overrated

when drew miller is the only one who has a goal in the past 3 games i would say everyone is under achieving right now.The intensity is not there for anyone plus everyone is holding on to the puck to long and then they end up turning it over.and it looksmlike lids is a scared to get hit again that is why he is turning the puck over so much this year

i like the rule about the player who gets the penalty stays in the box for the whole two minutes,but i suggest that if there is a penalty in the last 2 mins of the game no matter if its a five min major or a 2 min minor that happens with 30 seconds left the team should have the oportunity to try to score for the duration of the powerplay even if its longer than the period.and if the team scores 1 min into the powerplay the teams go 4 on 4 for the remaining time that is left on the powerplay.

I agree with this point 100% plus stevie played with injuries that know one else could, lidstrom included while still blocking shots and scoring on top of that .stevie played almost half his career with these injuries but they got worse in 2002 and he still managed to bring us to the cup.Lidstrom has never had to deal with these kinds of issues.I am not saying nick is not a good captin but heart goes along way and stevie has got the biggest one ive ever seen.And as for 2006 stevie was our best player against the oilers at the end of his career.

luke schen is a guy you win a cup with c-mon man get real. lacavier yes but in order to get someone like him you have to give alot and it will destroy our teams chemistry ,because we would have to give up either z or pavs and financaily lacavier makes more than the both of them so no fit into salary cap land.with the money we have i think this is a good signing because bert knows in order to keep playing after this year he has to produce,hence the 1.5 signing because nobody else wanted to pay him that much.
