Hey night I don't wanna quote a long post to point this out but at one point you said the announcers said franzens own stick cut him ? Can you explain how a players stick would be in position to cut his own face ? Having played some hockey in my time I cant think of a single time ( when I wasn't falling from a check or trip aside ) where my stick was in my own face -

I played with a kid whose dad was coach of the team, one day the kid was smarting off and not skating hard. The father grabbed him by the front of the jersey and yelled " you came outta the end of my **** you'll do what I say ". The kid was 13 and not a pro hockey player this guy needs to toughen up and grow a pair sometimes coaches say things to get fire outta players, anger is a good motivator , sometimes.

well if your talking force it would be easy to figure it out, since force(f) = mass(m)acceleration(a) so f=ma. Where a football players mass might be more, a hockey players acceleration is greater. It is that acceleration squares mass so the (a) side of equation is the one that has the greater impact on force (f) and by that we could assume that hits in hockey would have greater force over all but of course each hit has it own set of variables. just my 2 cents edit: grammar

I know ducks fans are happy and they should be but if the wings played in the pac. div. they would have easily won the prez. The worst team in detroit's div missed 8th by 3 points the worst in duck had 79 points. Our div. put 4 of 5 teams in the playoffs so yeah detroit had a harder year all year long and still had 3 rd best record. Wings in 6

Ok I am unclear on one thing could players such as cleary/stuart sign a new deal for less money, not they would do so but could they if it was stay a wing or go elsewhere?
