I have searched high a low on google but have had trouble finding pictures of the banners in the Preds' rafters. I know there are three: Commemorating their first playoff berth; commemorating the fans; idk wht the third is (possibly commemorating their establishment). I AM ISSUING A CHALLENGE: Find pictures of these banners. The petiteness of the banners are SO easily teased. In case you're unaware, Preds fans, banners are usually issued when something is WON or to commemorate an INCREDIBLE event. One playoff birth is not an incredible event; maybe 21 consecutive berths, but definitely not one. -

I got this signature from him in person 2 years ago (bottom name) Looks like 25 instead of 28, but every signature is unique...and he signed it on the edge of a small rubber disk The other signatures are that of Hank, Ozzy, and Helm (clockwise from Rafalski)

He's a strong player. I really hope Jimmy knows how much we care about him and that he doesn't lose any confidence in the offseason from this series. Howie has definitely matured, I just hope the passion in his heart stays as strong as ever. Great season Jimmy Great season Wings

It will never happen. The Wings draw too much of a crowd in the Western arenas to risk the move financially. Don't get me wrong, I would LOVE to have the wings be in the East (they'ld run train every year in that conference), but I don't think Bettman would allow them to move.

I'm always more upset the day after so let me tell you this now; it was NOT "all for not". Although the cup is the main goal, there is so much more to a great season. The cup is one tournament. It is an event to see the Wings play 82 games full of drama and action. There is no other entertainment like it. No other characters on TV do we get more attached to than our boys. No screen writer in the would could make us feel the way we did when Lidstrom got his hat-trick, the sorry and worry we felt when half our team was injured, and the amazed sensation we had when they powered through to the post season for the 20th straight year. It is absolutely heartbreaking when they bow out of the playoffs. But better to have experienced this team, with all their passion and strength, make it this far, than to have shrugged off a bad season in April like some other teams must do. GREAT season Red Wings. I cannot wait to see you again in the fall

I've said it once and I'll say it again, I love Jimmy Howard. He played his heart out, and gave the rest of the team the opportunity to win. I hope next season the Wings come back and allow him to raise the cup as a starter. Great season, Jimmy. It has been a pleasure watching your career progress and I cannot wait to see you again in the fall.
