As most of you know Kopy and Hossa are both Slovak. They attend my Slovak Church here in Michigan at times. It seems like Kopy would take a hit to keep playing on a team with Hossa because they are friends, but seeing as he is going to test the open market, might mean that the chances of keeping Hossa are looking pretty slim from Kopys eyes ( or his agents). So from that simple observation ( and the Not Optimistion comment) I really think Hossa is definitely going to try the open market. Just a thought, that Kopy knows more then us. I really don't feel like Hossa is going to stay, but I do think he is a great player and would be an asset to our team in the future.

The Detroit Red Wings (as a team) were 1 game away from winning the cup. I didn't even recognize ANYONE from the 2nd period( the team sucked, mainly the defense imo... We lost as a team stop bashing hossa. I hope he gets signed again

Hossa's Great. Get over it the team lost. The team doesn't lose if Hossa doesn't score. The team loses on odd man rushs and terrible D... A turnover from stuart and a odd man rush was how we lost this game... So what it happened. We have a great team, I think we should keep Hossa, drop maybe Hudler or Sammy, Pick up a year round goalie. I mean ozzie rocked in the playoffs sucked in the season... Hossa ROCKED during the season and had trouble in some games of the Playoffs... He still scored and played hard during the finals. I mean he did not play like a 7.5 million dollar player but he played better then the list below in comparison in points! Well, This is what I think... Osgood is not as great as he was last year but as the Playoffs started he started off great. I was at the game and the goal was a heartbreaker... 3 OT made osgoods arms sore I bet. That game is over, so we need to get past it and win the next 2. The only line that is a real threat to the wings is GETZLAF. He seriously just walks through our defense. If we can shut that line down, we should have no problem. Hossa and Datsuyk arnt doing much but it will come they just need some kind of spark and once that happens it will be a murder! I just hope its sooner then later.

Well, Draper was in full jersey before GAME 1, I saw him skating around. I guess to just mess around, Whats the point if hes not going to play? Couldn't he just wait till the morning skate. Any other thoughts on this?

OK lol, I just joined the forum only because of this question, usually I just read the forum but this made me join. First and foremost I shall say NEVER in a million years would I want Sid The Kid on my team ( on top of that bettman would all of the sudden love the Red Wings, and would claim we are a model franchise)... He is the biggest baby ever and is supposed to be the savior of the NHL, I can not stand him nor his style of play (which is whine till I win). Sure he is good but he is only as good as the people around him. Sure he has a lot of points, but that's all from assist (Even though his points are similar to Datsyuk's, datsyuk is just another level, which crosby can not compare to him). I wish goals were more important then assists.I wish the NHL adopted a point system that I made up. 2 points per goal and 1 point per goal. Then I feel like the best players would really be shown off for the most important thing which is goals! haha it may be crazy but I would like it more. I may be biased because im slovak, but HOSSA ALL DAY
