Best time of the year, no doubt. Perhaps being an underdog ( most " experts" are picking us to lose to Nashville in the 1st round) so....flying under the radar may work to our advantage. Anything can happen...as hockey fans, we have seen it time and again. Let's go Red Wings!!!! I want to still be cheering in June!

It's kind of the lesser of two evils right? I think I would want St. Louis to win...but if the sharks win, the Wings play them and extract revenge. Long physical series would be perfect!!!! If the wings get through, I am rooting sharks all the way

This series is gonna something. It reeks of seven games! I can never really tell if a team is for real until they have won, or gone deep in the playoffs. I am very curious to see how the Blues manage the different pressures of the SCP. Game on boys

Whhhhhhhhat. No tooth fairy????? Ok, not being a homer here at all but do you KNOW this team? Do you watch the games? They are a statistically better team then Nashville. We have had a million injuries and still managed to not collapse. We have played crappy the last few weeks but no one wants Datsyuk to be doing cartwheels while healing a newly surgically repaired knee....rest a bit because the PLAYOFFS are coming!! I am not suggesting that this Nashville team is an easy team to play. They will play us hard,they will try and push us with physical play but in the end, we have more weapons. We are a better team and this is the playoffs. We are a different team in the playoffs. I am not a homer...just a fan who Kiowa this team and know what they can do in playoff hockey. Wings in 6.... I stand by that! Bring it ON

No. Anyone who is going into the playoffs HAS something to play for. Try different lines , mix up the face-off men....the AVS have nothing to play for since they didn't make the playoffs. If you are motivated team,you should be working. As for us....we got notta? Pretty sure we came back from a two goal deficit to take it to a shootout. Wings in six....enjoy your crow before round 2

I was somebody who said I thought the team would miss E more than they imagined when he went down. He is playing very solid hockey and I am really glad that he is getting the Props he deserves. way to go E!!!

Where is the "Hudler sucks " guy now? He is the only guy that has scored in the last 2 games? I agree with Mich Steve.....both Huds and E played very well...Florid played very well and are certainly not the Panthers of old. So happy to get a W......confidence and a money off our back.

Holmstrom is really affected by his skating. He has been a PP specialist and once he has to skate ( on the 4th line) it is very evident how much of a hinderance it is for him.In saying that, he has given 110 percent on the 4 th line. He plays hard every night, he never complains, he never acts like it's beneath him to play on the fourth line, even though the guy has won FOUR Stanley Cups. I have never respected Homer more than I have this year. The guy is a true champion and it will be hard to replace what he brings to this team. As for retirement, I think it's time for Tomas to hang them up but his skills, heart and personality will be missed for sure

He broke the opponents shut out streak. If they meet Nashville in the 1st round, it's nice to know they got one past Rinne.......plus is there a BAD time to score a goal???

No One very bad goal...one unlucky bounce..Two of the goals, a CBJ gets behind our D? C'me on. He is not gonna win the Vezina but Conks made some big saves when everyone was running around out of position. One goal is on Conks, the rest of the s*** is on the TEAM. Stuart was brutal. The team looked lazy and, well...like we have looked on the raod for the most of the year.
