Wow...easy on the trigger here. Name me a team that hasn't had a slump this year. Look at Washington, Pittsburg, The Sharks, Chicago...all top teams..all who have really struggled at some point this year. In October, San Jose looked like the dumbest club in the NHL to let go of Nabokov and pick up Neimi and he played terribly...now, he is a big reason why the sharks are on fire. This team is way too deep to chalk this up to anything more than a slump. Better now then June....the only end that is near is the end of us playing like a bunch of AHL'er...We are way too good for that

The TEAM has not been consistantly fulfilling his job of being winners. Jimmy was great tonight...everyone else looked slow, lazy and unmotivated. Say what you want about Jimmy this season but last night's loss was not on him!

I love the Motor City Hotel and Casino. there at least 15 times and always enjoyed everything about it. Great rooms..good food and they usually offer a shuttle to the games- if not, a cab ride is 6 bucks. The room rates are fantastic (with oversized spa tubs, flatpanels, ipod docking and 24 hr room service)and if you like to play cards, it makes it even better. Also, its owned by the Illitch family so I always feel like I am supporting the Wings Enjoy!

One word- LEBDA...moving on I actually think that Washington made a huge error in passing on Theodore. He provided leadership and had better stats than Varly last year for the Caps. Now look at the Caps without some of that stability. If you have seen any Wild hockey, he has been a big reason as to why they are only one point out of a playoff spot. I'd love Theo to join the Wings as an anchor back there. The guy won a Hart and IMO, is one the the most underrated back-ups in the NHL.

This is a great home and away for us. Howard needs some confidence and although Nash usually shows up, he will have to deal with Z on his ass all night long. We need to get lots of rubber on Mason (because Detroit isnt the only team who is bleeding a bit between the pipes) Nationwide is a great arena with lots of Motown fans!
