Please tell me you are joking. Flip is basically a point a game guy right now. That line, for the first five games was the best line on the team. Lets split them up and put Flip out with two other guys that have 3 points. This is an excellent idea. No, pull up Hudler..thats a nice 2nd line of Flip, Bert and Happy. I'd put Miller with Cleary and Mo....add some speed to that line.

Lets get out the genie for this... as well as : Franzen, Raffi and E not being hurt. Goaltending doing their job, Seeing the Z of the 07 playoffs and Kindl having a few years experience. I think all these things would have factored into "last nights game being a whole lot different" Stewie plays on the edge and has since he got to Motown...thats why he leads the team in bone rattling hits and often PIM.

A quick no here...I dont think a non playoff performer is worth 7 mllion a year. Of course, if you look at contract that some guys have (Drury, Dipietro, Huet) well, its pretty subjective

Easy! We looked awesome games 1 and 2. We looked tired and lazy for games 3 and 4. The guys are re adjusting to the HHL schedule after being off for three months. Nobody here does their best work the Monday and Tuesday you get back from vacation- it just doesnt happen....but soon enough, you are back in the swing of things and they wll be too. Of course they are professionals and paid millions of dollars but a job is a job so let everyone get their s*** together before pushing the "OMG" button. They are just as deep and just as dominant as we were all saying three weeks ago when we couldnt wait for the puck to drop!

I did not specify that YOU hated him but there are a lot of people that dog the guy for "being overpaid, not shooting the puck enough"...blah, blah. Go back and look at posts from last year- He gets the gears a lot, so there are a lot of Flip "haters". He deserves some props for bringing it hard every night and wanting to improve his game....some guys are just content after they get a decent contract. I never said that I thought he was going to be a Dats or an Ovechkin, in terms of scoring presense BUT I do think he is very talented and will have the best year of his career. Glad to hear you think he is worth the cash he is paid because I think all the small things he brings to this team- the intangibles, will make him a key part of this years Stanley Cup Winning Team! Agreed!

Last year, Flip was the best wing for about month when we were suffering throug massive injures. Babcock said this on a few occasions. He is coming into his own and I cannot understand for the life of me why people continue to dog the guy. He has sweet hands, great speed, fights hard every night and will only get better. He is the SECOND LINE Centre on the deepest team in the NHL...I am thnking there is a reason for that. He will have 60+ points this year (unless hes injured)and maybe the haters wll find someone else to complan about!
