Me too...I am always an optimist about the Wings...even if they are down 2 goals with 3 minutes to play because I have seen them come back and win it so many times. GO WINGS!!!!!!

As you can see from my handle, I am a huge Z fan. Despite saying that, he has been really struggling this series and I cant remember a time I watched Hank and though he looked "bad"- No points, Cant win a face off...but even more disturbing are his turnovers and errant passes. Mlve reported that he was limping after Game 2 and had ice on his leg. Do you feel that Hank has been playing hurt or is he just "off his game" There are a lot of guys that don't seem to be playoff guys...Hank isnt that guy- he gets better in the playoffs and he was a stud in round 1. So I ask...whats wrong with Hank?

I dont recall anyone throwing Flip or Bert under a bus in round one...thats why I think Zetty's hurt. Its not just in the offensive zone, but the neutral zone as well...and BTW, Flip has worked his ass off. He plays hard every shift. every game. Just sayin' I dont think a report saying that Hank was obviously limping after the game is jumping to conclusions. In fact, its the exact opposite.

No one can deny Z has not looked good at all. He has to be hurt....he is too good of a player to be playing this way

Training camp is awesome....The guys are great at signing stuff and most of the fans are really fun as well. I got a complete stranger to take a pic of myself and Z with HER camera and she emailed me the pic when I got home. Its a great atmosphere to hang out, see some great practices and meet the guys. Two years ago we stayed at the Great Wolf Lodge but this year I am staying on the bay. Also, the boys usually will go out for a beer or two on Union street. As for tickets, I have never had a problem getting good seats via fax. I live in Ontario, and its hard to get up to TC to get them but there has never been an issue by fax. Anyway, its a great time so I hope to see some other LGW fans there

Just an observation...The Mule seems to be having some difficulty managing the puck and making good decisions. Tonight he looked a bit slow and took an idiotic penalty in a 1-0 game. Although he has made some pretty passes and has gotten on the scoreboard, he doesn't look as hungry or as much of a force as he has in the past. Do you think he feels pressure to perform because he has been a playoff monster or do you think he isnt 100%...Perhaps its just me, but he has played a bit lazy thus far. Thoughts?

Umm, if you read the original post, I stated it wasnt a hater thread: I was looking for discussuion so I am not throwing the guy under a bus or not giving him a break. I asked this question- if he was 100% yet as to why he didnt look like the same old Mule we know and love. NOBODY said sit him down.

Yep, thats what i was talking about. I mean...if you aren't gonna be an asset per se, don't hurt us by making a useless, stupid decision. I like him being physical and he, in my opinion, is at his best when he is using his big body, but as I said in my original post, he just seems to be making poor decisions with the puck. Like I said, this wasnt a hater thread at all, but the last 3 games, he had looked disengaged to me and I just wondered if other felt that way as well.

Ok, so he crushed one guy, elbowed a dude in the face and got an assist in tonights game....the rest of game he looked average. Am I the only one who thinks so??

Well said, but as the original OP stated, everyone called out Z earlier...and he has been a stud! He deserves major cudos for the way he has played so far. As for Pasha, I hope tonights goal gets the money off Datsyuk's back!

C'me on...really? Every Wings fan on the planet knew that Jimmy had no experience going into the playoffs and it was the one area that could be suspect. He hasn't been terrible...he has been average and has been hung out to dry by the D at times. Jimmy isnt the problem and Ozzie certainly isnt the solution. What should be more surprising is that Bryzgalov has opened the door for Detroit to win this series but our F'n offense cant get it together. Sloppy play, turnover after turnover, not finishing checks and slapshots from the point where there is clearly no lane can't happen. If we play like we did in game 2, this thing is over for them. If we play like we did in game 3, its over for us

I took wings in 6 in my pool. I really believe we should win this series but we have to play 60 minutes a night. Zetterberg and Flip have been STUDS so far..now we need Pavel, Homer and Mule to get studdly! Also, I am wondering about Raffies injury..... GO WINGS GO!!!!

Love Flip..always have, and have been one of his flag wavers. Glad to see him relax and play his game! He was on fire last night and he and Zetty looked incredible! Way to go boys!!!!!
