This was a joke and my biggest complaint about it not being allowed. It was from May's stick to the back of the net...nothing controversial. Zebra could have said to th ewar room in T.O that he missed it and it would have counted but because he took the coward way out and said " I had the intent to blow the whistle" he was trying to save his obvious stupidity. At least wne you f#ck up, own it. Grrrr

I kinda think that this is just hockey. The Vancouver game is a prime example...they outshot and outplayed us and we won. There have been games this year that we dominated and ended up loosing, so it all works out in the wash. We have looked much more confidence and that has really helped up- guys are skating and he have gotten solid goaltending. considering the depth we have lost to injury, i have been impressed

I agree...krons has a great shot and when he is a bit more patient with the puck, as he has been in the last 5 games, he can be an offensive threat for sure. He will be the team leader in points in 2 years I think

Both Clears and Leino have been off this year. i hope that they can see themselves as roleplayers to Z. Both need to get going. I know Clearly is a LGW Fav, but he has not played with the same grit that he did last year. i hope this will light a fire under his ass!

I just barfed in my mouth a little bit with the consistant pairing of Lebs and Meech...with that being said, Jiggy shoudnt air his dirty jock strap in the media but he is a great goalie and would look great in the winged wheel. My guess...we end up with an Islander...Biron or Roloson and Biron would be my guess. 6 million..thats just wrong

Actually I would prefer Backstrom. I love this kid! Semin is a sweet sniper but Backstrom has such a complete game and is an amazing player...plus, being a swede, he would fit right in!

This one kills me as well...Bowen also always uses the word "gobble" at least 8 times a game...."Kaberle gobbles the puck up on the half boards..WTF? Are we watching hockey or carving a turkey.

And...its totally fun to see the guys joke around with you...and you can see them walking downtown at night. Last year Krons and Lils sat across from me playing blackjack. Its a totally geuine environment and a ton of fun. Over 3 days I got about 40 items signed...22 pucks, sticks, jerseys- plus the games wre fun too- see the prospects and some of the veterans. Miss Queen thing and I should work in advertising for the event..lol...but you need to go!

I didnt go this year but Z was generous last year at training camp. He was out signing for about 45 minutes. He signed on the Saturday and did 3 items for myself and 2 for my friend, plus allowed a pic of us. I got my jersey and a stick signed as well as a promo Wings magazine pic of he and datsyuk (Dats signed it as well, but did no pics and would only sign once) My friend got a stick and a 8x10 of Hank holding the Conn Smythe trophy. Since I paid for the hotel room, I got the memoribilia, which was awesome! Some of the guys are really awesome about signing...others are really not interested and will just do 10 or so for the whole crowd. As for through the season, I hear most of the guys will not take as much time, but the atmosphere is so much more relaxed in Traverse City

I always supported him coming back when we picked him up again. For the price, he is a steal and I am looking for him to really step up with Flip now being out. It was already said, but I am really happy whenever he plays well, gets a goal or makes a good feed. I feel like he is an underdog here and I want him to do well!

Yep, sorry about the err, but I think the PK does affect +/- to some degree because you have wasted a shift killing off a penalty instead of being on the offense. Anyway, my bad!

I really disagree with this. Flip should not be judged by points alone...its what he brings every night. If the only thing that counted were stats, Erikkson would be our best D, Pavel a week ago with 2 assists, would be playing on the 4th line and Lids would be on our 3rd line, so lets eliminate that arguement right now. Flip has gotten alot more PK time this year, hence the declined +/-. Besides that, Flip has really improved his game: he is stronger on the puck, plays hard every night, knows how to find an open linemate and he is CONSISTANT. He is always reliable and solid...not great but good. I think this will really hurt us. I hate that ppl measure someones value to the team on stats alone- thats ridiculous. He will be missed and this team will not be as good without him. Heal quick Flip!

Well said and finally Babcock does something to say to the guys who aren't working and aren't producing...play 60 minutes or you can sit. I really like this move. it will be interesting how Ville responds-it will show alot about his character

That was an easy loss for us last night if babcock doesnt pull Ozzie and put in Howard. He was GREAT last night which was so nice to see. I thought he looked confident and handled the puck well. I agree with the comments about he has gotten better each game he had played which is very important. Two goals in 2 periods is decent and neither were beauties...... but neither were stinkers. Way to go Howard...Keep it up boy

I agree with Osgood's mask being the worst. Its actually terrible and I cant stand that he still wears the circa 1980's cage. Johnson's mask as the backup in Pitt is also pretty bad. I mean, I love Zeppelin as much as the next classic rock fan but its a bit over the top

Lets talk Kopitar, who is finally having the season everyone expected he could...Then I would part with Ville and Abby. Frolov is talented but not at this price.
