Actually, you can go fly a kite as you RE READ my post....There are 5-6 guys that could go or not be re-signed this year. This is not all interdependant on Hossa...Hudler could get an offer of 3 mill and walk because we won't match that. I was simply stating that we COULD get a player like Cammie and still keep Huds..and those are good options if Hossa is not an option. You want to trade Raffie when the guy was 3rd in D points this year? Now we find out he was playing with a herniated disc in the playoffs. Talk about throwing someone under a bus

If we didnt re-sign Hossa and looked at the possibility of letting go of two of the following: Sammy, Huds, Malts and Kopecky, we could seriously entertain guys like Cammalleri (3.6 mill this yr.) and some talented role players like: Chad Larose (875000) Travis Moen (925,000) who is gritty as hell. Perhaps we need to be a bit more sandpaperish. Not signing Hossa to a long term contract would allow us someone like Cammie...who I really think is an amazing player and clutch in the playoffs... Hossa re-signs and we are up against the wall all year. Not resigning his gives us a ton of options

Flip has ALWAYS been my 2nd favorate player behind Z and I thought he was amazing. He showed a lot of guts and determination and it just seemed that the deeper the playoffs went, Flip rose to the occasion. He is become what detroit thought he would be and its awesome to watch. Congrats Flip on a stellar playoff- i thought he was one of our best, night in and night out!

I had no problem getting tickets for all 3 days last year and I waited until I could fax in my request! I am from Ontario so it made it impossible to pick them up in person but I faxed the AM the tickets were released. Hope that helps

I am really tired of the media talking about how TIRED the Wings are. Everyone makes reference to the fact that they are older and "unning out of steam" In contrast, they praise the Pens who have found " The next gear " in this series because of their young age". What a joke. I took a look at the rosters and went through the most likely rosters for tonights game, assuming that Abs and Dats will be in and they would keep Drapes and perhaps sit Maltby for Leino. The Pens will most likely keep their system the same, so I didnt include Boucher or Sykora in the mix. Here is what I found: Average age of the Wings Roster is just over 31 years. Average age of the Pens is almost 27 years. Really insignificant. In addition the Pens have played 21 games..the Wings 20 games, having the Pens playing more hockey in the Post season. Each have had 4 games go to OT, each with a series that went 7 games. Fleury has played 64 minutes more than Ozzie ( a game +4) and the ice time for players are pretty level. When you really break it down, I don't think fatigue is an issue. I hope that the Pens continue to make idiotic statements that the Wings are tired and perhaps approach Game 5 that way. With Pavel back ( assuming it is true) they will see a very fresh guy who can hurt you in every area. GO WINGS!!

He was awesome and he was a factor EVERYTIME he stepped on the ice Way to go Pavs!

Beat me to posting it but here is the article in case you don't want to use the link: Update from Saturday's morning skate: Dan Cleary, Brian Rafalski and Justin Abdelkader aren't skating. Rafalski also didn't practice on Wednesday but played on Thursday. Pavel Datsyuk is skating on a line with Henrik Zetterberg. Here's the lines they're using: Franzen-Zetterberg-Datsyuk Holmstrom-Filppula-Hossa Hudler-Helm-Samuelsson Leino-Draper-Maltby Lidstrom-Chelios (for Rafalski) Kronwall-Stuart Ericsson-Lebda Lilja-Meech (scratches)

Hi I have an Edge jersey and do find that they fit a bit more snug...by about a 1/2 size, so to err on the size of caution...especially if you wear a sweatshirt or LS shirt underneath, i would go a size bigger! Good Luck

Its all speculation based on his skate this Morning- Dreger said "Anyone in Hockey would look at that as an indicator he is not playing"...so its an educated guess. I think Babs is playing a chess game and that Pavel WILL play. They didnt want to give the Pens time to prepare for his return, because he is gonna bust out!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Update from NHL.com The Detroit Red Wings may not be getting the emotional boost they were hoping for heading into Game 4 of the Stanley Cup final. Forward Pavel Datsyuk skated with the Red Wings' "Black Aces" on Thursday leading to speculation that the Hart Trophy candidate will miss his seventh straight game. Following practice Thursday, the two-time Stanley Cup champion said he will take the pre-game skate and make a decision after that. Full Story.

Umm...what have you got to be cocky about? Your BFF Crosby doesnt have his name etched on the cup, right? He will feel the same disappointment he did last year...so YOU try and enjoy the rest of the series. GO WINGS!

Please, Please, Please let Pav's play!!!!!!!

I don't really see this a total disaster. Drapes is fresh , well rested, has great legs and is a faceoff machine. The Pens will try and throw Cindy out on the 3rd line and with Draper in, we can dominate the circle, even when Z isn't on the ice. Sammy has had a really good post season, but I will be happy that Babs won't go with the "sammy on the Point" during the PK...Krons and Big Rig can do some punishment!

I doubt its even his foot. If you look at the play where they think he was hurt, it looks like his hip. He could have something far more serious than originally thought. Dislocation, Hip flexor..whatever- and that would definately cause limping ect. I think he is out for the season....no one misses 6 games with a bruised foot. I hope I am wrong but being day to day EVERY DAY is way too suspect. He is hurt

Malkin= douchebag cheapshot artist!

I want to win this game so badly so the announcers will shut up with their constant fawning of Crosby. Wasn't it just LAST YEAR that you guys said: Detroit is the Oldest team in the NHL Detroit is the Smallest team in the NHL Detroit cant match Pittsburg's Physical play Detroit can't win this series Don't you people ever learn? Cups arent won by age or size....they are won by heart and The Detroit Red Wings have the BIGGEST, FASTEST and STRONGEST HEART in the NHL!!!!! Go Wings GO!!!!!!!

Zetterberg is the man.....he just does everything sooooo well. Wing for life!!!
