the point that i was making is most teams(was, chi, and sj excluded) goalie has to be their best player night in night out in order for the team to be successful. personally i dont think a goalie should win the hart unless the team was dead last in goals scored and had a shot at the presidents trophy. thats why either crysbaby or OVI will get it, bacause Washington wouldnt be over 100 points without his 40+ goals, and with malkin having a down year then pens needed crosby to step up like he has.

wings are 7-2-1(lost to van & calgary in reg, EDM in so) Datsyuk Mule and Homer have been our best players. Z and Flip other than tonight and a few games have been quiet. they need to work on letting in early goals and not waiting till the last second to score goals

He does seem talented but at 5'7 he might be to small. Skill can only take you so far, dont know how he would do against Chara or Pronger. Wont hurt to sign him so i say go for it and let him see what he does. Who knows maybe if we get hudler back some day we could have Aasen-Hudler-Tater on the same line and set the record for the smallest line in NHL history

I vote he waits till after the olympic break to come back, what would be the point of him coming back early if he gets hurt on his first shift and is out the whole season. It would be nice to see #93 putting the puck in the net but 2 extra weeks wouldnt be the worst thing for him

funny how 99% of us thought that Holland was making a mistake re-signing him, and now we cant wait till he is back in the lineup

im going to the Wings game on sat vs Col, its gonna be my 2nd time going to a game. they won the last time i went so lets hope my luck continues

but the fact of the matter is that after the accident he never got back up to where he was stats wise and most of it had to do with him brakeing his left leg in three places, and most people have a hard time even walking like they used to let alone skating when they have that much trauma in their legs. was he out of shape? yes, but the wings knew that after the wreck the odds of him even playing hockey in general were very very slim.

do you mean when he got in an car wreck and almost died?

we will be fine. think of another team that can lose 88 goals in 1 off-season and still have 3 players that can put up 30+ goals each. will we score as much next year? of course not, but last time i checked we still have the best defence core in the league, and you can bet that ozzy/our defence will never have a season as bad as last year.

the last 3 cups the wings have won they beat the caps in 4 games, the canes in 5, and the pens in 6. pens in 7 this year? GO WINGS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

in '97 we beat philly, '98 caps, '02 canes, '08 pens. in these playoffs the pens have beat 1st round philly, 2nd caps, 3rd canes. god i hope that favors the wings
