Why do we feel the need to defend Kroner for that hit. He left his feet after the impact. It was a brutal hit, but it's the kind of hit every fan of every team wants to see delivered to the opposition, especially in the playoffs. I'm sure not everyone wants to see the receiveing guy out cold, but come on people, that's a beeeeautiful hockey hit. Quenville has to say what he says because he's coaching that squad and he can't very well tell his kids that it was a great f***in hit. He needs to get them fired up so he's gonna say it was dirty or illegal or whatever he needs to, to incite his team to play harder. Let's just hope people learn to keep their heads up, especially when Kroners on the ice.

Did everyone miss the part where we were totally out shot and out hit in that game. I'm not worried so much as I am annoyed with the slow starts and sloppy play. It was a great job by the Wings to get back in the game, but we shouldn't have been in that position in the 1st place. Some of their passes are ridiculously craptastic and the turnovers.. O...M...G.... have got to stop and Hossa needs to score a damn goal already...

Seriously... I couldn't agree more. Who knew there were 60 minutes in a game? I am so effin sick of this squad waiting til 20 minutes are left to make a push. I know they're good. Hell... EVERYONE knows they're good... but really... start with some intensity and put a team away early.

While it's true that it's easier to win 2 games than 4, I seriously doubt that the Hawks are done giving us hell. Maybe they are and that would be sad because these last two games have been nothing less than riveting! Never the less the sooner the Wings win this series, the better.
