LOL agreed. I'm certainly not going to stop watching hockey because the officials blew some calls. That kind of thing is not going to stop until the officials are held accountable for their actions and I don't see that happening any time soon. That being said, there is a WHOLE heck of a lot going on the ice and even if something should be plain as the nose on the refs faces, different people have different perspectives. That will always be. As far as a conspiracy theory goes.. get real. Was it s***ty? Yes. Does it totally suck? Of course but, the officials are not being held accountable for the mistakes they make and both teams suffer for it. I tell you, sitting here bitching on a message board isn't going to ruffle any feathers but ours. Until people start complaining to the league, and good luck with that, this is what it is. A flawed league that we love to death. Love your goalie.

Ozzie is effin' great. Sometimes bad seasons happen to players, but all Ozzie does is win for us. IMO he was totally the star of lastnights game and he's played his ass off this entire post season. I'm sure it won't, but this post season should shut the mouths of all his detractors. Love your goalie!

I hear what you're saying, but this is adversity. It sucks, but it happens. Are you going to say that in life, if someone, or a group of someones screw you over, (and they will) that any amount of bitching is going to change anything? Overcoming adversity is part of what makes winning so great. Let's not waste this precious time of glee on fruitless anger over bad officiating, and most definitely let's not be cry babies. Our team won and they're grrrrreat!

Whatev... their second goal was only scored because of a BS powerplay. They never should have been in a position to score that goal. If they want to take the GWG back then they can give us their second goal back. Either way, Wings win. WOOT!

No doubt lastnight's officiating was disgraceful but it happens. I will say that when games are called like that it certainly makes the NHL look like joke. Rules are rules and should be observed by everyone out on the ice, players and officials alike. That being said, it makes this victory that much sweeter. They tried so hard to give that game to Anaheim and the Wings had no quit in them. They make me proud to be a hockey fan.

I love Hossa and think he's a great fit for our team. I don't really want to lose anyone but, I doubt we'll sacrifice anyone substantial to keep him. If he's willing to take less money to stay we have to keep him. He's too good to let him slip away.
