Are you serious? Have you ever had a fracture or broken bone in your foot. Once you take your shoe off and it swells, you're not getting it back on for a while. I also seriously can't believe that you're suggesting that Pavel's ethnicity has something to do with why he's not returning just yet. That's disgustingly ridiculous and you don't hate to say it or you wouldn't have said it. Something has been wrong with Pav for a while now, that should be obvious. Do you honestly believe that he doesn't want to be out there playing and scoring goals? Jeezus.

Think about what you're saying here... for just a minute... you're taking in to account the skill or lack there of ... of teams in the Stanley Cup Finals. I don't care how good your goal tender is. If your team isn't good defensively you're probably not making it to the finals. So using that logic as a qualifier for Conn Smythe purposes probably isn't that much of a factor. As for Franzen, I didn't expect him to lead the team, but I most certainly expected him to be among the leaders. Do you remember the playoffs last year? Yeah.. I expect him to play at that level this year, especially with his shiny new contract.

Are you a Red Wings fan? Do you crack beer cans across your head for fun? Declining an invitation to fight when fighting is unnecessary does not make them soft. Why take a penalty when its unnecessary? That's just dumb an undisciplined. Also...since when is hockey about fights? It's not. Fights are great but if that's why you're watching hockey stick to the beer leagues or go be a Ducks fan. I don't want to see a game degenerate in to a brawl every time I watch. Fight when it's necessary and I have no doubt they will. It's more important to win a game than win a fight, at least from my perspective. The Wings aren't soft.. they're just not goons and quite frankly I'm glad of that.

We were not all pissed when he left and not all of us felt like he was a traitor. Some of us actually felt quite the opposite actually. See wasted money on Curtis Joseph. He is my favorite player of all time and while it sucked to have to see him play for other teams I could at least see him play.

waaaaaaaaaaaaa I can't take the pressure. It was bad enough when he left the team and now he's leaving the NHL. I'm totally bummed over this.

The Wings faced the weakest opponent in the 1st round because they were of the strongest opponents in the first round..Arguably San Jose was the weakest opponent in the 1st round despite coming in 1st . So we got the 7th seed.. I mean.. that's just how it works. Even still people were giving the edge to Columbus based on the play of their rookie goalie prior to the start of the post season. Idiots.. but whatever. That Ducks series was tough and quite honestly the biggest threat to Detroits chances in the west. Chicago isn't a weak team or a bad team, pushovers or just glad to be here but, they are kids and that was going to do them in eventually. Really now.. I think Chicago would give the Pens a serious run for their money so please don't suggest that Detroit has cake walked their way in to the conference finals. They didn't... they just make it look easy because they're that good.

You can't keep making BS calls and expect people to sit back and shut up about it. That's not realistic, especially when you know bitching about it publicly is the only thing that you can do because the league surely will not do any thing about it.

You're kidding right? Because the Wings don't always need to out hit a team doesn't mean they're "coasting" it means that they're talented enough that they don't need brutalize teams during the regular season to get their wins. If they don't have to get overly physical during the regular season I'm all for it. I'd rather have the least amount of injuries heading in to the playoffs than the most amount of hits leveled against the opposition.

Franzen hasn't done more than is expected of him. He's expected to do everything he's done and then some. I could see you saying that about Cleary or Helm even, but not Franzen. Also whether Osgood plays for the most skilled team in the league is irrelevant. What matters is how he's playing and how that's effected the outcome of this post season. Saying what team he plays for needs to be considered when making a decision like Conn Smythe is off base. If a player on the team that doesn't win The Cup can win Conn Smythe, what team the athlete plays for doesn't make a difference.

That's not all you're saying. You came here to mix it up and talk smack. It's cool if you do, but don't cry foul later and act like that's not what you were doing. Why would we question our teams chances of winning? We want them to win... duh. Anyway.. the Red Wings have not only been successful for the last 15 years... get real. This is an original six franchise. Do some homework before you come here making false inflammatory statements. As for the empty seats... all the playoff games have been sold out... one more thing you didn't know..

If my options are Chelios or Lilja just off IR I'm gonna go with Lilja and (I can't believe I'm going to say this, but regardless of how he's played recently) if my options are Lebda and Lilja just off IR.. I'm probably still gonna go with Lilja and I don't even really like him. p.s. Lebda sucks.
