I completely agree. I haven't given up on Leino but right now I just can't see how you would justify taking Miller out of the line up.

Lidstrom is easily one of the top 7 of all time. 6 Norris trophies gets you in the top 7.

Everyone seems to think that if Homer comes back he is going to take a big pay cut and I really don't understand why. He is leading the team in goals, why would we expect him to be willing to resign for less than half what he is making now? Draper will definately be back as he has one more year on his contract and he is still an effective player. Maltby is almost certainly done after this year. Lidstrom better come back, he may not be the player he was a few years ago but he is still great top 4 guy hopefully we can get him back for 1-2 years in the 4-5 million range.

Exactly. Its tough to say right now if Columbus or Nashville will finish better this year so I just hope it doesn't go to overtime. Also, this whole fighting for a playoff spot makes the regular season a lot more interesting. As a fan I think its ALMOST more fun this way

I have never been there myself but on the show man vs food on the travel channel I just saw an episode where they went to Slows BBQ in Detroit and it looked freaking amazing, I am definitely going there next time I am in Detroit. If you do rent a car there is a huge mall in Novi and I would recomend spending a day in Ann Arbor if you want to see a nice downtown with cool quirky shops and great restaurants.

This. They always sell plenty of tickets, the season ticket holders just never go until the playoffs. I would love it if there was another NHL team in Michigan but its not going to happen.
