Forgive my stupidity but I don't understand the OP...if we win game 4 doesn't it become a best of 3? What do you mean it won't be a best of 3?

Maybe we should shuffle up the defense pairs but I don't know if that will help when all of the defenseman are playing so bad. I actually think Kronwall might be having the worst series out of all of them. There was that miscommunication b/w him and Howard that cost a goal earlier and then in game 3 his stupid cross ice pass in our own zone directly led to a turnover and goal plus he was lucky Howard saved the puck he kicked right at our net. Please please turn this around guys Having said that I am going to end this with some positive mojo and say that Kronwall is going to have the game of his life tomorrow, Kronwalling at least 2 Coyotes and scoring a goal while finishing with a +4 rating.

So if LA wins tonight every home team will have lost at least one out of two, crazy.

As much as I would like to see the wings win the cup, I would also kind of like to see Chicago win the west and lose in the SCF. Can you imagine if Hossa lost 3 years in a row with 3 different teams in the Stanley Cup finals? I would also like to see someone besides Pittsburgh or Washington won the East just to see what the hell the announcers would talk about during the SCF.

You would think the NHL would use this event to get people excited about hockey in a potentially big market like New York. I do understand that they want to promote the whole star power thing but it can backfire. What is going to happen to the ratings of the SCF if the devils or sabres win the east? Casual sports fans know nothing about those two teams because all they see is Crosby and Ovechkin. And also you would think they would want to promote more American players like Parise.

I don't really understand how we are 3 and Nashville is 7. Nashville has been absolutely on fire and is still ahead of us, I guess I just don't get power rankings.

The only reason Nyquist might not win the Hobey is because he is only a sophmore. Only 3 sophmores have ever won it, so it would be quite a feat if he did.
