QFT. Yeah, we really do need a facepalm here with this guy.

What`s really dumb here is that certain people equate no goal scoring = the player sucks. Forget about all the nice plays to set up a goal and the defensive plays they made. Nah...they suck cuz they can`t score...lol (/sarc) And btw, it was three games he had 2 goals in. God, the idiocy never ends. *Edited typo
-
Well, that rules him out of attending any hockey games then...
-
Double standard? I didnt say Crosby got a free ride. You claimed Hossa did... and I proved how biased and dumb you are by backing it up with Hossa`s stats that he was a top scorer on the team and a big contributor to the Wings success. Now whats your next excuse? *edited typo
-
Free ride? Are you that dumb? Look at his stats through the season. He was the top goal scorer on the club and posted 40g and 31a for 71pts and a +27. Notice the wings had home ice through the entire playoffs? Hossa was a big contributor to that.

Have to agree about the rookies from GR. They provided alot of energy and even some scoring, especially when our top guys weren`t. The Wings owe part of the championship (if they win) to these rookies. Great upcoming talent and classy. My hats are off to them, no matter how it ends.

Looks like he might play tonight from watching Hockey Central just now. let`s hope.
-
Well, if that`s true, then you didn`t need to post this.

Seriously, there are douchebag Pens fans, douchebag Wings fans, douchebag Flyers fans, douchebag canes fans, douchebag [insert any teams name here] fans. Boggles my mind why some people think some teams have better fans than others. All teams have the good and the bad ones.

Skimmed through this and didn`t see this mentioned but he only played 12 reg. season games and 20 playoff games for a grand total of 32 games for Pitt. I can understand someone leaving your team for another and not liking them but he wasn`t there that long at all to garner a huge hatred. I think the underlying tone not being admitted is that he went to Detroit, the hated team that knocked out Pitt. for the Stanley Cup.

That and his OT winner as well.

LoL VM, while I`d absolutely love to see Pronger get smashed into the boards, you just don`t want to see someone get their throat slashed and come close to death like that.

Agreed, best wishes to the Walker family and hope she fully recovers.

Was only half paying attention when I then saw the replay and was like "Oh s***" ( from remembering the last time it happened to Zednik). Thankfully he was ok. He may be an opposing team member, but you don`t want that happening to anyone.

It`s at ESPN.com now. http://sports.espn.go.com/nhl/playoffs/2009/news?id=4171546 (linking wasn`t working) -
All I could picture when he blew by them was the Roadrunner from the old cartoons. Might just be showing my age there...

I find the lack of faith disturbing... Remember one thing, the Wings are still the reigning champs and just because you have a world class team, doesn`t mean you will win every single game.
