Hey guys, I was at the game tonight. Fun to watch actually, good to see the boys come from behind and take the lead - sad they couldn't finish it off. But yeah, I got my moneys worth tonight with the OT and SO. The guys from GR played well IMO, I was especially impressed with Meech and Ericsson, and Zetterberg (despite not getting any PTS) and Pavel all looked pretty good tonight. They were giving the Oiler fans fits. This game might have been another loss, but its a step in the right direction - the new young D are really starting to look a lot better. Gene Principe interviewed Yzerman during the break, and Steve made it clear that the Wings are not panicking, in fact they are using this as a good opportunity to see some of these young guys, and they are pretty excited about it. Yzerman kind of had a calming effect in that sense. Lidstrom, Rafalski, Chelios, Kronwall, and Cleary will be the best post-tradeline aquisitions ever. Lets not freak out!

I disagree. Sure he gets carried away sometimes, but just cause a guy says the Wings are in trouble doesn't mean he is a dick. He has a lot of valid points. He is better then Glen Healy, thats for sure.

I have tickets to tonights game, paid 145 a piece for them. Nice to see that I payed that much to watch a Griffins/Oilers game. God ******* dammit, what a s***ty day so far.

I am disturbed at how little these teams are giving up for guys like Federov, Lapointe, and Huet. It makes me think Holland has got to have something working here in the last hour. If not - I might have to agree with you.
