I only wear my Wings jersey during the playoffs, to games, and while i am playing hockey at the rink. AND, I DO plan on buying one of the new ones in the next couple of months. A zetterberg one with an 'A'. I like it on the other side.

Speaking of getting things off ones chest. This whole 'Rangers are favourites to Wing to Cup' thing is pissing me off. Half the guys in the Edmonton Journal think they will win the east, and countless others think they will at least make it to the finals. Last time I checked, there defense was sub par...AT BEST. Malik and Rozival are decent, and Staal will be good in a few years, but the D-line is thin other then that. I think we all know defense is a big, if not the biggest part of winning championships, and the Rangers defense is weaker then even the Edmonton Oilers'. But hey - not knockin' you for liking them, I just don't think its realistic for all these broadcasters and reporters to jump on the Rangers bandwagon just cause they signed Drury - who had a careaer year last year at whopping 69 points, and will not duplicate it - and Gomez, who has scored more then 19 goals ONCE in his 7 year career. Not worth all the hype in my opinion.

The replicas from a few years back also had a funny outline around the winged wheel. This is a small example - i hope you can see what i mean can you see this difference? I hope i am not imagining this...it seems like there is some sort of rounded boarder around the winged wheel - you can see it better on the red jerseys but i cant seem to find a good pic.

Always a fun show to watch - Burke - what an idiot. This guy thinks him and the ducks are the center of the damn hockey universe. He pisses me right off. Anyways, nice to see some of the panelists pick the Wings for once - hope its not a bad omen. They've picked the Sharks for the last 3 years and in never works out.

I wore my Yzerman jersey to Game six Edmonton vs. Detroit 2006 Western Quarters. I was the ONLY person in Rexall Place with a Wings jersey. I got razzed and joked around with - but all in all it was okay. People pointed and laughed after the Wings lost, but nobody touched me physically. Then again - it may have been different if the Wings had held onto that 2 goal lead going into the third. f***. Anyways, got to see Yzermans last game live - So its all good. It makes my life complete.

Dead McAmmond is NOT a tough guy. Maybe this McCammond guy you are talking about is - but the guy who plays for the Sens is definitely not. Just cause a guy got hit earlier in the shift doesn't mean everyone on the ice should fear him for the rest of the game, and thus make him immune from any retaliatory act. In fact quite the opposite, because Downie did it out of retaliation, he WILL be suspended. For me its more of a moral question - it was dirty because Downie knew he would hurt McAmmond and could have easily pulled up, or just not left his feet. 90% of players in the league - those with respect for the game and other players would not have left their feet, or not hit a guy in that position in the first place.

Sweet - Downey is looking like on of those guys you are embarrassed to call a Wing. Count me as one of the few who would rather see his ass cut from the team, or at least have him shipped down to GR, then at least I don't have to watch him lose fights and embarrass himself.

Props for slipping the 'R' and the 'W' into the 'Wings' on the wheel...but it still looks terrible.
