Sabres and Ducks have barely changed...and I actually like the Avs jersey better. Those silly mountain-like stripes at the top and bottom are gone. The crest is still god-awful, but the rest is an improvment

I dont think this is bashing the guy... he is just a bit heavy, and should have come to camp in better shape. His nationality has nothing to do with that. Rick Nash has the same problem every year. So did the Canadians during the 72 Summit Series.

Just started up school again so im rather swamped with course readings, but i'd have to recommend John Krakauer's "Into the Wild" to everyone. Its an amazing book. Trust me, it wont let you down. I read the book about two years ago and it still haunts me. P.S. the movie is coming out in 2 weeks starring Emile Hirsch and produced by Sean Penn. READ THE BOOK FIRST!

Yeah..every team has their whipping boy - whether its deserved or not. I hope Lilja doesnt turn into that guy for the Wings, he doesnt deserve it. Remember when Bob Essensa came to the Wings? I LOVED that trade..I think i was 9 at the time and he was my fav. goalie for the Jets, and the trade happened just in time for him to play against the Oilers in Edmonton..it just worked out that it was the first game i ever went to. I remember the oilers winning 4-2 and being so sad the Wings didnt win.

I think the Wings are looking pretty good on Defense for the next decade or so. Rafalski, Kronwall, Kindl, Quincey, Meech, and Pyett are all going to be good players.

Yeah, i get the idea he loves playing in Montreal. He is close to home again. I'm just saying I always liked the guy when he played here. He was always one of those guys in the background who I thought helped the team. He wasnt a star - but he didnt have any glaring flaws in his game either.
