I agree, but if they don't I would like to see the Wings send him an offer. However, the Wings weren't mentioned in the Clowe trade rumors, so the Wings and/or Clowe might not be interested.

AFAIK Horton doesn't play center. With Dats and Z as the Wings only top-6 centers, the Wings need to have someone that can fill in when either are injured. Horton hasn't been much of a power forward since his concussion. I don't think he should be a target for the Wings.

Mrazek's development is better served with him spending another year in GR and playing 45+ games. As a backup to Howard he won't get enough games to develop. I do see him being the back-up when Gus's contract is up.

IMO Nashville and San Jose didn't get better this week, LA didn't make a big splash, and the Oilers made a small trade. Only CBJ, Minn, and STL improved.

The Wings are sitting in a playoff position, so I'm not sure how/why they would be giving up.

He didn't come back on. Appears CBJ is holding a press conference now. Biggest trade of the day (so far) overshadowed by a non-trade.
