Hey, we want Hossa to get a you know what on Huet.
-
Yea, but then they have nothing to lose. Announcer is right - they should try to use this time to get their game together, but I doubt that will happen.

Ice Road Truckers, Wings in the WCF... does life get any better than this?
-
True and we would have endless specials on the struggles of young Cindy...
-
I'm not sure a secret video showing Malkin and Sidney in manly love would stop it.
-
Brilliant! Funny as hell.

Chicago's management brilliance is becoming more clear. They are paying five ******* million for Huet!!! Holy s***, think of what they could buy for that. A very short poem: Heut can't do it.
-
First goal was a shorty - great give and go with Flip and Hossa - Hossa scored. I can't keep them all straight, but we have a goal by Flip, another by Hossa and a great back hand flip by Z. In a nutshell the Hawks have been playing like little ******* bent on some kind of revenge and in the process have let us destroy them. Oh, Stuart nailed Havlat with a great check and he left the game for a while from it. Kronvall almost nailed Kane in a classic kronvalian hit.
-
Agree, all my love is now for the men in Red! :-)
-
Hey, update please. Is Havlat out? Did Stuart rock his ass for this game this time?
-
I am really astounded at the level of stupidity demonstrated by the Hawks here. You are facing a team you just beat in OT, they are without 2 huge stars, short on D and what do the Hawks do? Play like ******* and get their ass kicked (in two periods). I mean, had they come to play and used their speed and skill... it might have been close so far. Just moronic. Players, coaching... total amateurs.

Crawford looks so young? How young does he look? The Hawks equipment manager outfit the goal tending gatorade bottle with nipple.
-
Which I might add is of note. Line combos are the answer for Marian. Can there be any doubt now? Tell me how Babs could ever put him back with Dats and Homer now? It sounds good on paper, but just aint!

He is the most interesting man in the world!

Wow! NBC calling the Kronval penalty last game "the wimpification of hockey" It was a perfect hit. Love it! Love how all the announcers are standing up to this!
-
Stay thirsty my friends

Glad to see Nick isn't holding back. Good thing Kane got his head up, otherwise we would be facing another 5 minute game misconduct. Flip, Helm, Hossa, Osgood, Kronval... I'm liking this.

Someone help me understand that in the age of the mysterious "lower body injury" why we would give the exact location of our super star's injury? Or is it misinformation? Man, I can't keep up with all this! I miss Datsyuk and if we think we aren't missing anything because of his slump in offensive production, think "Selke." We need him bad.
-
I haven't had the time to read through all this carefully, but I am really confused. I had no idea Hossa is *** That Robert Lang is involved And that we needed to do anything about it
-
Exactly, this will go in the trash can faster than Darren Helm on a breakaway. It is just silly, immature and I can't believe I am wasting my time responding to it. Edit. The OP letter, not the Connie thing.

Yea, you are right, but Babcock would never be this whiney and maybe that is making some of us feel a little defensive about this. My favorite quote was this: "This is a great, great hit for me," Mike Milbury said. "... They ought to put O'Halloran and Jackson on a bus tomorrow morning, get 'em out of the playoffs." That would be referees Dan O'Halloran and Dave Jackson. But Milbury was just getting warmed up. "This is not a penalty," Milbury said. "Shoulder -- bang! -- check with a guy's head down. This is a thing of beauty. If you don't like it, change the channel." Let the Hawks concentrate on this instead of winning and we'll see how far that gets them.

A agree with the majority here - Homer was not the sole reason this happened. However, even without the stick breaking there was a breakdown and the entire line has to study that and learn from it. Sharp all alone to hit in that rebound into a gaping net was pretty strong evidence of that. It was just an awful game. That we got back in it at all is the good news.
-
But in all fairness didn't we start tonight with a lot of energy and hits galore? That is what I saw. Then the calls and of course was the biggest hit of all... you know the rest. Honestly, if you look at the very beginning of the game the Wings looked like they came to play.

Wow, how enlightened.

WCF GAME 3 GDT: Red Wings 3 at Blackhawks 4 (OT)
Stiffy replied to Hockeytown0001's topic in General
Okay, all pessimism is now washed away from my mind. I can't wait for City Council to clean up the city and jump start the local economy! Okay, that didn't work. You wanna see pessimism. Watch the Yankees fans as they are winning a world series. Every bad pitch is scrutinized with looks of disgust. Nah, Wings fans aren't so bad. Besides, keeping in your frustration is just not healthy. People have to vent man! Some few here are saintly Wings fans, but many have a hard time with the stress. Anyone who stays up and types a bunch of stuff to total strangers HAS to be a fan.
