Its sad the card collection business is dying, back in the 80's and 90's it was a booming business. Now you have brand new inserts worth more than some really old cards. I remember I bought a pack of cards and got a Peyton Manning insert worth $150.00 back in 2000. I have a very large collection that is sittin around collecting dust . I hope one day the card collection business will become what it once was.

A guy (Brian) I use to work with in Detroit is a Lakers, Steelers and pens fan. No idea how the Lakers have any connection to the Pittsburgh teams. God help us if one of them won a championship (in which all 3 have in the last few years) there was no shuting him up. Being a fan of the lakers because of Kobe I can see because even though I hate to admit it he is pretty good. Brian knows nothing about hockey execpt for one penguin player and everyday he'd come in to work chanting "Crosby" We called him bandwagon Brian btw.

Its kinda off topic but I work downtown detroit with 2 guys that are from chicago and are big blackhawk fans. Neither one of them wanted to play the wings in the first round.

I've watched probably less than an hour of basketball combined over the last couple years, this kind of behavior from guys who we call professionals is unacceptable. You have players bringing guns in to the locker rooms (Gilbert Arenas), players not wanting to stand up for the National anthem, (Chris Jackson or aka Mahmoud Abdul-Rauf). Now of course the NHL has their share of trouble makers (Pronger and Avery) but its no where near the magnitude of what the NBA players do on and off the court.

I hated him with the blackhawks but loved him with the wings. I remember hearing an interview with brendan shanahan talking about when we acquired chelios. Shanahan stated he was driving in his car and had to pull off to the side of the road upon hearing news the wings got chelios.

I disagree with you. I wouldn't say Howards 29-15 record sucks especially for a guy that is playing his first full season in the NHL.

Well we have a 4 point lead over Calgary, granted that we keep it and hold on to a playoff spot which I think we will. We will be a very scary 7th or 8th seed. We're getting healthy at the right time of the season.

Good to see Aaron being picked up by a team. When the wings play at home Aaron Downey and a few others stay at a hotel I work for. Aaron is one of the nicest wings i've met.

I went back and watched the handshake that I had recorded on my DVR, when both teams were shaking hands Crosby was still hugging penguin coachs, he didn't bother getting in line like the rest of his teammates.

If the Pens won, I will be canceling a family reunion trip this saturday to Ohio in which a ton of family will be there from Pittsburgh. My wife will be pissed but I will not sit there and listen to my family members tell me how malkin and crosby and the Pittsburgh Penguins are better than the wings.

I seen that hit by Kunitz he definitly left his feet. A few more plays come to mind that should of been called that wasn't. The hit Rafalski took behind the net which should of been called interference.
