4 goals allowed per game, he is sucking up a storm for us. I still say we need ozzie in and will until we lose this series in 6 games.
-
I think this will be a great series, both teams play a fast and hard checking hockey. both teams will wear eachother down really good, which ever teams pulls out the win they will be tired for there next round. I give the advantage to Nashville.
-
It dosen't matter what the line combos are, the WHOLE team is playing like the coyotes of years past.
-
Everyone is turning the puck over WAY too much, Dats needs to shoot more, everyone knows he will pass 99% of the time. We don't have anyone on our team that can actually shoot the puck real good. I would love to see Larry Murphy become the defensive coach for detroit.

So I guess you can't read this is the "Trading Post" section.

I'm so tired of watching detroit make these 2 goals leads then give them away in matter of couple minutes. We need more then yelling in the locker room.
-
I take it your behind the times, everyone has a time machine now. Im heading back tomorrow to meet Terry Sawchuk.
-
We need Ozzie in now, I have not been a big Howie fan so far, he gives up to many rebounds for 2nd and 3rd shots(LA game 51 saves). If Babs does not play ozzie I think it will make him look like a fool.

How can I get text messages from them about upcoming autograph signings from Verizon? Can you keep us posted about the Chelios signing, I need his.

Red Wings' Nicklas Kronwall to return on Tuesday; Andreas Lilja says he might be close to returning By Ansar Khan January 25, 2010, 12:28PM DETROIT -- There was all kinds of good injury news coming out of Monday's Detroit Red Wings practice: -- Defenseman Niklas Kronwall will return to the lineup Tuesday against Phoenix. He has been out since Nov. 21 with a sprained left MCL. -- Defenseman Andreas Lilja said he has been headache-free for 13 days and that he was told by doctors needs to be symptom-free for 14 days before being cleared. Unless he has a setback in the next day or two, he will meet with team officials this week and could return from a concussion that has kept him out since Feb. 28 of last season. “My plan from the start was to go 14 days without headaches and I’m hitting 13 today, so we’ll see what happens,'' Lilja said. "I’ll stick to that plan and negotiate after that.’’ By negotiate, he meant discuss with doctors and management when he should be activated. “I don’t know what’s going to happen. I have to stick to the 14-day plan first,'' Lilja said. “It feels pretty good.’’ He said he doesn’t know when he’ll play. “It’ll be up to the coach,'' Lilja said. "I feel pretty ready, so we’ll see.’’ -- Right wing Jason Williams said there is a chance he could play Friday against Nashville. He's been out since Nov. 7 with a fractured fibula. -- Forward Tomas Holmstrom has resumed practicing yet but skated on his own before practice and said he feels better. He continues to target Friday or Sunday at Pittsburgh for his return from a fractured foot sustained on Jan. 6. -- Forward Johan Franzen will know more about his status after seeing a doctor this week, be he believes he can return for at least a couple of games before the Olympic break (Feb. 15-28).

Now that would make some really good guys on defense. Lidstrom-Rafalski Kronwall-Stuart Ericsson-Lijla

Khan predicts what 'healthy' lineup will look like...coaches a

I can't belive you counted how many times you posted the lineup you wanted on here. Maybe you should really watch a game some time and see how bad Leino is playing, miller earned that spot in alot of peoples minds on here. I like everything else though. Abby does not make the cut because we can send him down without losing him, plus he gets alot more playing time down there. Can't wait for the red wings season to start come this late feburary when Franzen joins us. -
Saturdays game is gonna be HUGE, both teams will be playing like the playoffs start on sunday and they are fighting for the last spot to get in.
-
Should not have gone to overtime, Howie's 5 hole was so big a semi could have drove in there sideways.
-
It was not Ozzie fault at all, I am putting 95% of the blame on Bert. How can you outplay a team like this the first 2 periods and only manage 1 goal? We didnt have anyone in front of the net and that is where bert should have parked his rear. 0-5 on the powerplay is not gonna cut it either. I still have faith we can grap within the last 3 seats for the playoffs.
-
So tell me where it says its a "no goal". All its says is you cant shoot twice. The puck NEVER came to a complete stop.
-
Give up on this guy already, we won't make a trade for him, WAY to much to give up to get him.

This is a great topic to talk about with everyone. I started when I was 9 years old when the Pistons really started making a push for championships, so then it made me wonder what other pro sports detroit had. So thats where I began to become a big detroit fan. Then a year later we get Fedorov, I still remember the game where he had 5 goals, the way Yzerman played the game. Between those 2 I had to play hockey, the only thing my family could afford was me playing roller hockey with my family(8 of us=7 boys). And till this day I always will be a big detroit fan(hoping the lions can do something, I miss Sanders). Todays sports athletes need to learn what they do on or off the playing surface affects kids, I looked up to Yzerman and Sanders when growing up, know there are basketball players pulling guns on eachother in locker rooms. WINGS FOR LIFE

I agree I don't see him coming to the wings, but boy it sure would be nice to see a good goal scorer like that skate with Dats.

I was glad to see USA won, but what was really coll was canada fans were up clapping there hands to a great game, either team could have taken it.
