Just like the Ovechkin hit, I really doubt Hossa meant any harm, but becuase Ovie was suspended for nearly the same sort of hit, Hossa should be too. Then again... it is the NHL, not very consistant with this sort of thing.

Wow, how did they miss this? I can totally understand how the refs on ice could have, but when reviewed in Toronto @6:14? To some, it’s no big deal; to most others…..it’s getting pretty typical I guess. Pretty clear it was a goal.

This is a great idea! He’s among the best players in the league. He’s funny, passionate and plays with tons of heart. Plus, he’s been a leader on that team all along. Brilliant choice for Captain.
