That's great news that it's available on PS3 this year. No more hooking the laptop up to the tv. The PS3 player worked great for the similar MLB package. Another nice thing about gamecenter is that you can log in from any computer. So if you're traveling and at a hotel or something you can still watch the wings.

I used streams during the playoffs and had a really hard time with it. I thought the quality was terrible and it lagged all over the place. It's certainly worth a try for a $5 tryout though. I think gamecenter has a day or two of free trial at the beginning of the season as well. One more thing to consider: gamecenter was overrun with service calls last year to the point of it taking a week before they'd get back to you. But a very friendly customer service rep is on these boards and took care of me right away. So if you have issues you might be better off posting here.

I'd say gamecenter is 10x more stable than streams. Occasionally it would have to run at low quality for me. But that was probably my Internet connection, which is usually very fast. Quality also suffers sometimes over wifi but better still than most streams.

I ge it every year it's great. Never had a connection problem like was mentioned. A bit of buffeting once in a while but not bad. Good quality but not HDTV. No playoffs either when the games are national. Overall very enjoyable and worth the money.

I've had the online package the last few years. It's pretty great. I think it was 120$ or so last year. Easily worth it for me. thats what one month of cable would cost. Quality was good as long as you have a high speed connection. Not HD tv quality though. Much better than hockeystreams however. The only bad part is national games are blacked out so if they are on Versus it's a stream for me. They have other cool features like classic games and I can watch all of last years games right now. I hope they get a PS3 app like MLB does so I can get it off the computer and in the living room.

I grew up pretty close to Lebdas home town. We used to rent that ice in the video all the time. When they won the cup he brought it to a small bar 5 minutes away from my parents house. they had a +62 goal differential last year. we went from a +51 the year before, lost - what was it, 60 or so goals when Hossa, Huds, Sammy left, and finished last year a +13. Injuries had a lot to do with that obviously but Chicago is looking at the kind of swing we saw after last year.

I'll be happy to not have jackasses who don't know what icing is sticking their heads in my office saying, "hawks rule, wings suck!" that'll be nice. I won't miss that. I have some friends who have followed the Hawks their whole lives, had season tickets while they were terrible, and it's good for them. But it's tough living in Chicago as a Wings fan. Especially this month. I was at the Joe. My dad used to take me and my sister with his buddy to games all the time. They wouldn't charge us for tickets because we'd sit on their laps.
