Injuries aside I think he is a greater offensive threat than Hossa. ...but my post was made mostly in spite. I really didn't want Hossa to end up in the Wings' division. =(
-
Havlat to Wings. 12 years 40 million. Front end structuring similar to proposed Hossa deal. *fingers crossed*
-
Its over.... TSN says he is a Hawk... official.
-
They say its done... official... Hossa is a Hawk.
-
39 goals will go over big this afternoon. Wings can't afford it. =(
-
It's not official yet.
-
I agree it would be nice if he did it for us this year. We have however seen him do well in the post season. Lets just hope that if he signs with the Hawks he doesn't have a good playoffs.
-
Potential 100 point guy isn't that good.
-
This is kinda like him leaving the Pens for the Wings. Hossa seems to be validating his mercenary rep.
-
Pierre McGuire keeps saying he'd be surprisd if Hossa left the Wings.

JJ = $$
-
Nope. He'd have his prize and then chase a big paycheck.

There is a consumer level air cast you can purchase at a hospital or pharmacy. It doesn't cure tendinitis, but it does relieve the pain almost instantly. Basically you play hockey, baseball... tennis or whatever then with your elbow all numb and in pain and you put the cast on for a while and it feels better. Repeat this for the rest of your life. And yea... physiotherapy would be nice, but we aren't pros.

I'm sad... should have traded Fil...

Tennis elbow sucks, but surgery can make it worse. Physiotherapy devices are still the preferred treatment for athletes.

I'm just throwing this out there... I would trade Filpula if it meant keeping Hossa. I like Fil. Fil is smooth, young, talented, but Hossa is a complete package that Fil isn't yet... and despite what a lot of people say, may never be. I mean come on, Hossa is even more physical. -

Lidstrom is rarely manhandled. In fact... almost never sounds more appropriate. One telling stat regarding this facet of play is the fact that he is almost never injured. One awkward hit by Lappy sidelined him for a week and having his scrotum torn by a cheapshot are some examples of what it takes to "manhandle" Lidstrom. The fact is Lidstrom is never out of position, always knows where to keep his stick, never takes penalties that aren't absolutely necessary, plays by the rules, competes for the Norris and +/- award every year, and plays better without his stick than a lot of Dmen do with theirs. -
NTC?

I think a case for AO being called a power forward could be made. I mean 6'2", 225 lbs, hits everything that moves... stands up for himself and teammates...
-
That would be.... crappy. Nothing against Stuart, I like him, but I wish we could trade him. He costs just a little too much on a cap addled team like this.

Sweet. I never used my apple button for refreshing.. I always used function+f5. I keep looking on the TSN page and seeing other contracts being issued and I choke just a little when Hossa isn't there. -

Every time I walk past my laptop I refresh TSN's homepage and this thread hoping to see information about Hossa. =( -

I'm sorry to hear the troubles. I am a student and I haven't been able to find a sumer job so I am looking at some huge debts incurred this next year. I never get upset at athletes regarding big dollars. I figure its better they get the money than the admins.
