I am still holding out hope for a miracle Pens win but assuming this doesn't happen what would you rather see? The Wings win Game 6 on Pittsburgh ice or taking their chances in a Game 7?

I expect both teams to come out hard but I think if Fleury lets in a bad goal or goals early, it's going to be a long night for the Pens and i suspect they will see the Wings hoisting the Cup again on their home ice. If the Pens can weather Detroit's pressure early and also get the first 2 or more goals than I think the Pens will hang on to win Game 6. Anything can happen in a Game 7, you never know.

What a game, Dats coming back sure seemed good for the team. Not really much else to say other than I hope the Pens find a way to win Game 6. Even so though beating the Wings in a Game 7 would be very difficult. All in all hats off, the Red Wings played and acted like champions tonight.

If, and I realize that's a big if, the Penguins win this series, give them some credit, admit you were wrong about them, and don't make any excuses. I don't want to hear about how so and so was not 100%, the refs screwed us, the schedule screwed us blah blah blah. If the Wings are as big and bad as you think they are and to this point I have no reason to believe otherwise, they should be able to overcome any of the above obstacles to defeat what you say is a much weaker Eastern Conference team that hasn't played anyone, has a crappy defense, has Crosby and Malkin and nobody else, blah blah blah. As classy as the Wings organization is, I hope that their fans will be equally classy in defeat. Show us why you're better than Flyers, Capitals, and Canes fans if the Penguins win. If the Wings win, I promise to do the same.

I agree. As much as it pains me to say this, even if the Pens win 2 though it will be extremely tough, I think only the 71 Habs came back from a 2-0 deficit during the Stanley Cup Final when they were on the road. Still as a fan I am not giving up, I know the team isn't.

What would you expect to find on a Pens board? More Red Wing asskissing? There's plenty of that here trust me. Sure that site has some morons just like this one does, get over it.

The Zetterberg ones were ok, I had never seen those Bruins ones though, good stuff there. Agree that the Bud Light ones were the best ever.

What makes playing Detroit in the playoffs so frustrating is the never ending line of guys that seem to step up and play great. Hats off to the 4th line, well deserved props to them tonight.

Game 1- Nice Job Wings, Osgood was awesome and the hockey gods were on their side. At least the pens played better than last year's Game 1 but if they don't find a way to win tomorrow they are going to be facing a huge uphill climb.

In that case it's even worse because then it means you probably have a bunch of people that are buying the tickets that don't care enough to even go watch the team. At least here, the fans who buy tickets go to the game.
