    No, you are not alone. I hate the Ducks and my god, I hate Pronger. My husband, who isn't even a huge hockey fan, hates Pronger. Pittsburgh is a non-entity to me and I don't respect them at all.

    You should respect them. They just beat you 4 out of 5 and won a crucial game 7 on your ice. How you could not find anything to look up to or respect in that is odd.

    I hate Anaheim because of their team.

    I hate Pittsburgh because they are the golden team of the NHL.

    So you aren't the only one. If Pittsburgh wasn't touted as the best team to ever play I wouldn't have a problem with them.

    I'm not usre why you find the need to make up the "best team to ever play" stuff.

    Well technically it is because the Wings actually committed the first penalty. You understand how that works? Right?

    Congrats to the Detroit fans who stayed right until the end and celebrated the Stanley Cup, unlike the fans in Pittsburgh who left the building as soon as game 6 ended last year!

    HUGE CONGRATS also to the fans at The Joe for booing that Bettman low ass rat during his hypocrit speech!!!

    I will continue to withhold my respect for them until after the game to see how they handle themselves... last few losses at the joe they resorted to child like antics and tried their best to goon it up and injury our players... that type of play when you are losing garners no respect from me!

    It would actually be fitting is cCrosby shoved it up Detroit's collective asses tonight. It would be fitting because:

    1. It would make the loss 100 times more bitter tasting.

    2. It would create a huge sceaming babyish "it was fixed" moan out of the Red Wing fandom.

    3. It would showcase exactly how bad of sprots and sore losers Wings fans truly are.

    4. It would be fun to see Pens fans come here and gloat while you all collectively losey our minds.

    5. It would give you an entire year and a half hang-over as the NHL explots Sid's name and reputation to pimp itself, as you collectively pose your minds.

    6. It would plant those seeds of doubt about how dominant he is and will be int he future.

    I'd like to punch every Wings fans that used Bettman as an excuse. But this is the internet and I can't punch anyone. But, I'm not an internet tough guy, I'm a tough guy in real life. I'm 8 foot 14 inches tall and I weight 360 lbls and have 1% body fat. I can throw a spear 400 yards.

    I have family in Uniontown PA,those people think that other teams should lay down and let their team win.They can kiss my RED and WHITE ass.They never use logic or facts when they want to start trouble,cause they don't know any.

    1. Uniontown is not Pittsburgh, it is a meth addict haven 45 miles away full of inbreds, rednecks, and small town yokels.

    2. For every "logic and fact" argument here there is a Bettman conspiracty, a Crosby jealousy thread, and a slow minded Michiganite spewing hatred and conjecture. Don't get so high on that horse.

    Pens put on a shot-blocking clinic last game -- I have a feeling that will be addressed by Babcock.

    At the Joe especially, who cares if a shot misses the net from the perimeter, just get it to the boards.

    That is what worries me most. You get a sprawling Pens defenseman, trying to block a shot. If the wings shoot it wide and off the boards, the Pens have a guy on the ice and have to regroup while the wings are looking for a puck coming of the boards.

    I'd still proudly wear my jersey around, and like others I certainly would turn it off at the 0:00 mark and not watch the rest (i.e. lifting/parading-around of the cup, Conn Smythe, etc..

    But that's something I'm more akin to thinking about the time it occurs rather than now. I'm confident the Wings will win.

    Your team will be gracious sporting gentlemen shaking hands, congratulating, and be good sports.....letting the other team know they appreciate the battle and the game. Why can't Wings fans do the same?

    You tarnish a tiny bit of the rest of the hockey fan's here with dumb comments like this. Everyone is a little bit dumber for having read your opening post. Two games into a series on away ice against an astonishgly good defensive Wings team and Crosty is "the most over rated (sic) superstar in hockey. I'd mail you a nickel to buy a clue but Obama already sent most of my money to Detgroit to bail out the automakers. So, I'll give you a freebee, he has the mnost goals and the second most points of anyone in the NHL in the playoffs. That is, for your reference, 8 points and 3 golas better than Franzen.

    Is he the best player in hocket today? Most likley not. Is he overrated? Most certainly not.

    Funny how it is old calling Crosby whiny, yet not old bashing the city of Detroit or calling them old, and vice versa.
