I don't know how you can blame Howard for that goal. The Wings let Thornton skate all the way around the net and into the slot unchallenged. Thornton would have to be the s***tiest player ever NOT to score on that chance. Chris

Heh, no. I live near Sacramento. Pretty sure that all of the Sharks fans at the bar were ***, though. They all had these REALLY *** turquoise-colored jerseys on. What's that all about... Chris

Man, I had to watch the whole first period in a bar full of Sharks fans. That made me even more nervous. Good game so far; Wings look good. Howard let in a softie at the end of the first, but that was just a rookie mistake. Nice having a 2-goal lead starting the third. Hopefully the refs sit on their whistles. Chris

I agree. What the refs are doing is promoting more diving, and that means poor quality hockey. The players wouldn't keep diving if the officials wouldn't keep falling for it. Chris
